My only question is whether they actually believe some of the crap they write or If they're intentionally spreading misinformation. Personally I think it's a little of both. Some seem to believe what they're saying but then others I just can't shake the distinct feeling that they're intentionally speeding misinformation. FakeLE is a prime example of this. He claims to be ex SP who's either briefly worked this case or just was illegally shown the case file. He's said both on different occasions so that should tell you something right there. But he's supposedly ex SP and claims to have some inside info, yet everything he says is pretty much the exact opposite of what the real cops who actually have worked this case have said on record regarding it. Idk, seems sketchy to me.
Either way, it's a weird group of characters here..

I don't know where the old forum went so I can't tell anyone how to get there. I would not be surprised though if some things in it were deleted before it was closed. Not saying that's what happened but it wouldn't surprise me.
The info that I have are replies from a couple of posters that I and a friend that also lives nearby copied. Pages and pages.
There are other posters here that copied much of that forum before it closed I think. I only copied the posts pertaining to my neighborhood, neighbors, friends and LE. I won't make public all the disgusting things that were said just to prove I'm not exaggerating. So think what you want.
I won't open the can of worms for a very good reason. If you want to that's entirely up to you. And now I'm done with this conversation. Think and do whatever. I couldn't care less.

I've never seen any names mentioned. That must've been in the couple years that I wasn't really following the forums? After the MMM forum dissolved I didn't really realize that the convo has been moved over here & I never knew about advocates forum until earlier this year after it was done.

I've only ever seen this house referred to as the 'A-frame'. I've only heard the people referred to as 'the guy who gave the knife to Fred's brother', or something along those lines.

I've read a real lot about this case and ive never seen any names attached to the A-frame or the adress posted either. So it might have happened but clearly it wasn't prevalent or used for a long time at all, still not right If it really happened but I almost find it hard to believe.

Fred has now stated that the a-frame has been debunked.

The whole notion that the area was "poisoned" by shack is completely absurd, bill is never going to produce any evidence of this because it likely doesn't exist. My posts were never long originally. You used to be able to make a point and if someone disagreed they would disagree with your point and make a counter-argument. How far away was this A-frame house from the spot of the accident? This could very well be a place she stopped off from her journey and went to the bathroom. Tough to hold it when you are drinking and one will go just about anywhere, but behind a small little shack is a likely spot to do this. The scent of urine would certainly be strong enough to make dogs go bonkers. Just a thought.

Mike- the a-frame was close, less than a mile away iirc. The dogs that supposedly went 'bonkers' were cadaver dogs that only hit on the scent of decomposition, a dead body. They were also used over 2 years after she went missing so I don't believe they could've hit on her pee in the back yard. According to Fred the A-frame was "debunked".

Amy- you've seen their names posted this year? Interesting, I definitely did not see that. I've never seen a name attached to the a-frame, apparently there was but it clearly isn't common knowledge amongst the case

I believe it was actually started by helena Murray, Maura's aunt.
It is a list of the unsolved homicides in the north country. It's a pretty shocking list to say the least.
Go check it out, you will be very surprised how many women were abducted and killed while hitchhiking, jogging, after car troubles, or just an abandoned car found. The chances are actually less than 1%, lighthouse suggested the other day the chances of a killer being there were more like .0175%, which is probably even closer but her chances of meeting a murderer that night were probably even less than that.
But all of the victims on that list had chances that low of it happening to them, yet it happened. Unfortunately when a woman's car crashes or becomes otherwise disabled she is in a vulnerable position. Particularly a young beautiful girl out on a back road in the middle of nowhere in the middle of winter. The chances of her coming across a killer were extremely low but it definitely could have happened. Some sick fuck could drive around for years waitin for an opportunity like that.
I'm not saying any of the murders listed on that blog are related to Maura, some could be but there's no way of knowing that.

The fact of the matter is that women do get abducted and killed far too often, they get abducted and killed in desolate areas too. Unfortunately these desolate areas provide an opportunity for some killers. Some sick bastard who would never stalk and kill someone but if they see a young beautiful girl all vulnerable like that they might take advantage of the situation. To say she wasn't killed because the chances of it happening are low is a mistake. There is a good chance that is exactly what happened in this case.
You also have to remember that she didn't neccesarily have to come across a killer right then either; she had just driven about 3 hrs up from mass. Some sick fuck could've noticed her anywhere along her route, a young beautiful girl with mass plates all by herself in a shitty little car. Go check out that blog if you have a minute, many of the murders took place or the women were abducted along the i91 corridor; this was the route she was taking up from mass. If you consider that someone could've noticed her along her whole ride then her chances of coming across a killer become much greater. Consider that there was a serial killer in the late 80's in this very area that was never caught. It's been said that the killing stopped after the Jane boroski attack but it's possible they didn't. There have been similar unsolved murders since then, where the weapon was a knife and the body dumped in the woods. Not saying this is related but it is possible. There is certainly at least one killer on the loose in the area, probably a few judging by all those unsolved homicides.
It is very possible Maura was a victim of a killer, her sister who was considered her best friend described her as very trusting. Here's a quote from her:
"She was just like me, very trusting," Carpenter said. "She would go up to a total stranger. That's how I believe she was taken advantage of. She was too trusting."
It is very possible she just got in the car with the wrong person, was in the wrong spot at the wrong time. This is a very distinct possibility. Judging by how close she was to her sister and some of her friends I feel like this is more likely than her starting a new life.

Your points you make are all good. It could be possible if she started a new life and completely cut ties with her family she has no idea her mom died. I'm pretty sure her mom wasn't sick when she went missing.
As for the hit and run angle I don't see her staying away for this long because of that, that could've been the reason she ran, if she was involved, but it was pretty clear soon after the hit and run that Amherst cops had no idea what happened. They were never even sure if he got ran over or was car surfing. So if she did run because of that she would've known she was in the clear within weeks of her going missing. I can see what your saying about that being a traumatizing event and her never wanting to return to Amherst again after, even if she wasn't getting in trouble for it.
Interesting what you said about LE being at her moms funeral, I've never thought about that, damn i wonder if they kept an eye on the service to see if she turned up.
Honestly I hope she started a new life, I hope she is living with some cool guy that she loves and has fun with and just hasn't looked back, basically has no idea the pain she caused her family or even that her mother died, just completely cut ties. This is a possibility as well, it's what I hope to god what happened but I also feel like it might be a pipe-dream. Idk, but it would be so fkn cool of her if that's what she wanted to do and she actually pulled it off. It has happened, there have been missinf women found after 8,10, 12 yrs and longer living a new life, but it is extremely rare. Unfortunately After almost 9 yrs. Missing it actually is way more likely that she is dead then living a new life somewhere. I sure do hope your right though.
One thing that makes me think it's possible is that she told to guy that she was cheating on billy with that she wished she could run away and start a new life, his first thought when finding out she was missing was "she pulled it off". I find it interesting that guy said that she need mentioned her dad once in all the time they hung out(few months); he had no idea her dad was even alive. I find that interesting considering all the talk about now close she and her dad were.
I also believe that her dad did nothing bad to her, but I'm not so sure. If you consider all the things he's said that make no sense, all the lies and misstatements he's said, the fact that he didn't sit down with LE for a formal interview or over 2 yrs and brought 2 lawyers with him when he did, I get the sense that it is possible. I have a feeling that renner's book is going to suggest that Fred killed her. I like to think he is just a grieving father who misses his daughter, but it is possible that he is the NHSP's #1 suspect.

This case is a true mystery, there are several distinct possibilities as to what happened. I just don't believe for a second that she just wandered into the woods, there were no tracks leading in and it's just ridiculous to suggest that she just ran into the woods real quick through 2.5' of snow wearing tennis shoes and jeans. I also don't believe for a second she was suicidal. She's always been described as being a very happy person, always smiling and fun to be aroun. Happy people just don't go out and kill themselves because they crashed their dads car, that's just ridiculous. Who kills themself over a car crash?

That leaves she ether got killed or ran away as options IMO. Personally I hope she started a new life and I do believe it is possible, but unfortunately I think it looks like she was abducted.

You can look at this post in another way. Shack posted her personal opinion, which she is allowed to do in a free country and the locals didn't like it, and then they posted their opinions back which they are entitled to do in a free country. Unless of course your free country only allows freedom for certain people?

I do agree with you there is a clan justice mentality. Not in this forum but I think it pertains to the case. The family clan wants only certain aspects of MM's life revealed and they want immediate results using the limited information being offered. Where I think people lose sight in this family clan justice system is that this is America and anyone at anytime has the right to ask for the truth or justice regardless if they are a family member or a complete stranger.

And FrmLE, you are correct. I have decided to not respond to Jenkins posts, really can't anyway, I have stopped reading them. Don't think that will stop him from posting though. Should be interesting, him talking to and answering himself. I'd expect at least three times the output he normally generates. I did find it interesting that he has decided I am who I say I am, phew, and that you are also former LE, but you just don't know anything about this case. I know you must be devastated. We may need to have a support group for people that Jenkins doesn't believe are really who they say they are because he disagrees with them. Of course, we may need to also provide people with road-maps of what Jenkins "knows" at any given time as well. I think there is going to be lots of lines and erasures on that map.
