How about bill explaining how to put a put a body through a wood chipper and then putting it into ziplock bags and putting it through an ice fishing hole!! That's disgusting and freaky that anybody would go into that much detail. Not The first time either, there's been many times he's gone off on a tangent about ways to dispose of bodies. It's weird and gross. But that's fine with you wowzer.
Nope, it's the person that points out the disgusting process is not neccesary and it is possible to put a body through a hole in the ice. Ridiculous./QUOTE]

[QUOTE who="Bobjenkins-OG"] <quoted text>
The fact is that you can definitely get a body to stay underwater. Yes it's hard to weight a body enough to make it stay down, the gases made in decomposition make it very buoyant. But there is definitely a way around that, you poke holes in the skin to let the gases out. It's very simple to do and you can be damn sure people know about that. Yes many bodies come up from the water, Scott peterson's wife comes to mind, but that's people who don't know what they're doing. One good hole in the gut area is actually enough. If someone used a bunch of holes a body will never surface even without much weight at all, it won't be buoyant in the slighted.
I found your description above "disgusting and freaky that anybody would go into that much detail." Once again, you are the pot.

I doubt that anyone posting on this thread killed Maura or is covering for a family member who did. There would be no tangible benefit and it would only draw LE's attention to them and make them look guilty.
Just my opinion.
I agree with this for the most part amy. I find it extrrenely hard to believe that anyone posting on this thread is the perp, or actually knows anything about what happened to Maura for real. Possible but unlikely..
I think Some people just are in serious denial over the fact that a murder could've taken place in their back yard &/or vacation spot.
As for a family member of someone who may be a suspect, I'm not so sure. I'm not saying this person specifically knows anything about her dissapearance but only that someone in their family is potentially a suspect.
Now for someone like that they could have a direct reason to try to shut down any and all conversations related to MM. Maybe they're in denial as well, maybe they know the guy is innocent, maybe they think the guy did it but still don't want to see someone they love go to jail for the rest of their life.

No matter what anybody in here tries to say, these forums have most certainly helped keep this case in the media. Look at the case of louise chaput who was murdered in Pinkham notch in 2001. This is a murder and there's been next to no articles written about this crime. Seems like Nh is just fine with letting this brutal murder just get swept under the rug and forgotten about, it's pretty sad actually. A murder and there hasn't been an article written about it in years that I'm aware of. Last year was the tenth anniversary and I don't recall seeing any sort of article mention of it. Contrast that with Maura's case, there's been articles written every year about it, often multiple articles. Also the forums have been mentioned in articles more than a couple times, enough to know that the writers are aware of the forums and they are some what influencing what is being written as far as media articles.
So to someone who is close to a suspect, or even potentially a suspect themselves could have a damn good reason to try to end the conversations about MM. If they can get people to stop talking about it online then the media won't see any public interest in the story and will eventually move onto another more current story. Sad but true. The media is going to try to cover stories they see public interest in. Also the mentioning of the papers on the forums is great free advertising. The Caledonian record, NCN, the names of these papers are mentioned all the time on these forums. Think of the murder of Tom Conrad in warren, iirc. How many articles have ever even been written about the guy? You do a search you find nothing compared to all the MM articles.
Clearly the discussions on these forums help keep the case in the public eye and in turn in the media.
Isn't that a rather good incentive for someone close to a suspect to try to end the conversation? Get the public to forget about it and LE probably will too, eventually., there's always newer, more pressing cases that can be investigated than one the public forgot years ago.
I don't really think the actual perp is on topix, but a couple of these posters I seriously question their relation to this case.
Also a perp could totally post 100% anonymously. Buy a burner sprint or tmobile iPhone and register it under a fake name. Post from a phone with a fake name and how could LE possibly figure out who you are, even if they have your ip. go buy a cheap laptop and go use it at wifi hotspots in different places. it would be next to impossible to actually trace it back to you. The cops can see full ip addresses down to even the device code, but that doesn't neccesarily bring them to the owner. See what I'm saying? Attention is already on this case, if someone could end the conversation that would take attention away from the case.

Amy- you said there's no tangible benefit as it would only draw attention from LE.
I got a question:
Do you think that LE has looked closely at posters like wowzer, bill, snowy and frmLE?
These people are clearly trying to convince people that no crime took place and arguably trying to end the conversations about Maura.
Do you think that this caused LE to take a look at them?
I'm not sure at all but I would think that LE most likely at least knows these people's names and here they live and if they have any potential connection to the case, if they're not posting truly anonymously that Is
Well I would sure hope so at least, just like I would think that they would probably know who I am from back on the original MN forum. I always assumed that bak then they wanted to know who the people posting on that forum were

Your clearly just trying to be argumentative with this post. I agree that post was a little gross, and I felt weird posting it.
But we had bill describing runnin a body through a wood chipper and putting it in ziplock bags! Where the hell were you on that one?? That's post was extremely graphic and completely disgusting, yet you said nothing.
I said a total of two things that weren't particularly graphic.
I also said these things in a direct response to bills misinformation about it bein impossible to get a body to sink.
He actually had the nerve to say that since the body didn't float to the top then we know that it didn't go in water, which is obviously 100% bullshit. But I notice you didn't say anything about that did you?
The only reason I even made that post was to clear up mistruths stated by someone who clearly knew they were saying something untrue. See what I'm saying here?

You guy's lack of integrity and complete willingness to say bullshit and outright lies just to be argumentative is just amazing.
You guys are some REAL honest posters huh?! Lol, bunch of freekin liars

Jenky,

Maybe it's just the fact that you have taken over this forum and the volume of your posts is hard to wade through. You do tend to be repetitive and very long winded! People have told you so many times yet you go on and on and on. You are basically saying " F you I'll talk as much as I like" It's exhausting to be in one of these types of conversations. I don't disagree with some of your opinions, but, I get offended at your lack of ability listen when you are told it's just to much. It's actually so bad that not only am I unable to appreciate when you do make a valid point, but, I look forward to Bill or whoever else is up to it slapping you around a little. It's like a physical attack. first you become defensive then as it goes on you become offensive then you you just want to beat the offender into a bloody pulp! Try this simple principle of sales people. KISS---Keep It Simple Stupid.

My first post on this forum was basically an attack on everyone here. I got slapped around for that approach. I was brand new to the subject and thought people were way out of line. Then I read backwards to the beginning of the forum and realized this has been going on for years. The people you are critical about may not always be right, but they have dealt with every type of poster imaginable have no tolerance left for crap. Some have grown cynical and some can be pretty cranky. In my case, it was like entering a conversation between old friends uninvited and scolding them. I deserved what I got.
Jenkins in reviewing your posts, I have concluded that you went off of your lithium about three weeks ago. Not a good idea, the holidays are coming and you are going to crash at the worst time to be depressed. Please see Doc and get yourself leveled off!

I don't mind him going on and on and on. I just wish he would try to say something interesting, and only say it once. Him repeating the same unsubstantiated crap over and over and over makes me pretty much just skip over any of his posts. Life is too short to waste it on being jenkinized. It's almost like dealing with the reverend Sun Myung Jenkins. The two followers would be what, Jenkies?

He doesn't really write posts, he more or less just repeats a mantra. If your not prone to indoctrination, or brainwashing, then it winds up being extremely boring. I often wonder if people start agreeing with him just so he will stop talking.

I will admit, he is almost a super hero with the number of posts and the virtual 24/7 vigil that he has managed to keep. I wonder if he could be twins? Insanity does seem to run in families. In some families it seems to gallop.

Anyway, I expect the needless slaughter of these defenseless electrons to continue. It's OK though, I can wait.

Also, findmaura, I need to ask, who is this mystery person that has refused to allow discussion about CW's sighting? I had never heard anyone say that couldn't have been an actual sighting.

Jenkins obviously relates to people in real life as he does on Topix, or he writes differently than he communicates in real life. Either way, anticipate no change. Each of us has made some reasoned, some humorous, and some snarky replies in order to help him modify his style for the sake of having our patience and intelligence tested. It's a no go. He flip-flops like Romney on most issues and probably matches Peri in volume. Annoying as heck.

Oh one other comment before I REALLY need to do some work. You do know that we had a murder in CT where a woodchipper was used, right?

Very famous case. First conviction for murder where a body wasn't found in CT. As I remember, Connecticut's world famous CSI Dr. Henry Lee cut his teeth on that case. Google "Richard Crafts and wood chipper"

So it's not like it hasn't happened before. I know some of the people here are a little squeamish. Makes you wonder how they got involved with a "murder case". Some of them almost fainting or getting "sick" at the talk of swinging dead cats. Makes one wonder if they are in the right business. Solve the case, just don't say anything icky.

I like it. Cases solved through osmosis (real word, look it up) rather than discussion. No need to think. That is right up someones alley.

Oh and Shack, I am still waiting with baited breath the other thing you were going off to "think on". I always love it when you come back with a "thought". They are usually so light and airy.

Having seen a family member with this issue. It looks like the pattern I have seen over and over, for many, many years. Hope your wrong, but if you aren't, listen to what s/he is saying Jenkins. For your health. Again, as hard as it might be for some to believe, this is only the internet. Nothing important going on here that anyone should be risking their health for.

I had to also!! Back in march, I got some huge threats via PM & no1 believed me.. I was like "God, grant me the ability to punch this dude in the face through the computer screen" & that didnt work "im serious, i was that mad", so I just stopped posting.. I did read however & read all of what was said to you.. It was very bad for a grown man to do what he posted about you..

I know I deserved most of what I got when I arrived.. I said a stupid thing on another site.. Said sorry A LOT, but never mentioned his name!!!

Some people dont understand that Topix will take some of these threats serious & you have to talk to LE... Its not fun.. & the sad thing was it wasnt bothering me untill I was getting 1 every hour on the hour & couldnt keep the BS going bak & forth with several made up monikers from heartless cowards..

I subscribe to KISS, and make some slight effort to streamline my posts, as well. His aren't the only repetitive and sometimes nonsensical rantings...the history is rich with a few others. Beagle was tolerated for his unique contributions and presumed, exceptional intelligence....a known personality. Enter a new crop of strangers, and all hell broke loose. Not to mention the "conspiracy" mentality. The virus is catchy. A crazy crew.

Also, if anyone seen the movie "Fargo", thats what the russian guy was using near the end..

Oh yeah. With the leg sticking out when the cop came up. That was a really good movie. Have watched it several times. Forgot about that though.

And I have read that the mob also used welded up 55 gallon drums with holes punched in them. They report that was highly effective, especially when dropped off in the ocean. People never seen again. Thank goodness Haverhill isn't too close to the ocean or we would be barking up those scenarios also.

Oops, back to work.
