She talked to her boyfriend early Sun morning when she was upset about wrecking her Dad's car. She spent the weekend with her Dad and Sat evening with friends..........then she attempts to call her boyfriend **several** times on Monday - leaving the same message that she missed him, loved him and would call that night, as well as an email. He has told family that it was unusal that she would call with that same message multiple tiimes in the same day.....that is why he believes she was calling him to tell him about her trip,, but was unable to reach him because of us army duties.

According to the surveillance (sp) camera, she withdrew her funds shortly before she left for NH (based on driving time).

These facts lead me to my **therory** that Maura decided on the very day that she went missing, and not before, to take a trip to the mountains that she loved so well in NH and VT.

Look at this again:(might support theory that someone was *resending* the message)

Would phone records show the message sent was a duplicate......sent multiple times?

a basic timeline and description of maura's time at West Point and then transfer from west point to UMASS:

Maura went to West Point (army) on a track/cross country scholarship starting in June 2000

Maura completed "Summer Beast" training (army basic training) in summer of 2000

I find it pretty hard to believe that her cc fraud had anything to do with her dissapearance, except maybe embarrassment being the reason she went up NH in the first place

She stole like 77$ or something, nobody is gettin killed over 80 bucks, at least not in places like amherst, Holyoke maybe, but not Amherst.
Also the charges were a misdemeanor, misuse of a cc under 250 & she took the rap for it straight out, there's no way there was someone behind the scenes that killed her because they thought she might rat them out for a misdemeanor she already got charged with. Come on.

It's very possible the cc thing started going around campus as it happened towards the end of the semester, I could see embarrassment being a damn good reason for her wanting to leave for a week and possibly forever, but to think someone was threatening her or actually harmed her for using the cc is just unbelievable on many different levels.

I may disagree with orky on conclusions he's drawn from his research, but he is very researched in this case & his info is generally always correct. Since your full first and last name got outed on that blog a couple years ago, I'm not gonna say your name or even the name of the blog, but since you got outed how many people have come and harassed you? How many people have stalked you or tried to kill you or even just called you? You guys are always soooooo concerned about being outed & people being outed, yet you were outed a couple years ago and clearly nothing happened to you. I'm sure if the slightest little thing came about that everybody would sure have known about it a long time ago.

I'm not saying anyone should be outed that doesn't want to be, I'm just showing that our very own super troll has already been outed a long time ago and clearly nothing happened to her.

Can anyone point to on case that's ever been in the media, or even happened, where someone was killed or even stalked by someone online where it wasn't a sexual thing? The only cases I've ever found are all related to sexual websites & the like, never a normal website. Most forums people aren't exactly concerned about keeping their identities so secret. It's just another weird thing about these forums, that being outed is even an issue, I've never heard of such a thing on any other website...weird!

yes, the timeline is a carefully crafted explanation that conveniently puts a positive spin on a story that is missing verification to most, if not all, pertinent, verified facts. fiction isn't helpful.
insults and targeted anger don't magically change misinformation onto factual info, either.

For CC theft to go unnoticed, all you have to do is ignore changes in your bill. To blindly accept your bill without breaking it down can be costly. Some parents might be floating the students tab, and be silly enough to accept an iffy purchase?
Maura may have been testing the waters? I don't think she'd get popped over 80 bucks either. Add another person into the mix and you have a partner, so to say. When Maura was busted, she may have made a deal, or someone may have been worried that she did.
But it's a new day and I'm so fickle..;)

On a side note there is lots of violence of small community forums.. When that movie "Lawless" with that Shia Lebouf came out in August (that movies about where I live, the actually county, so I know first hand) there has been non-stop violence here starting with people running their mouth on the net & then the other side showing up starting trouble.. But we use our real names..

Its in small towns all across America & especially overseas.. See the war where Isrel attacked?? Prollay didnt cause all the junk talkin took place on twitter for the first couple weeks, way before any American media picked it up..

CW never claimed he had seen Maura. So Im not sure what sighting you are referring to. I could be wrong but I believe you are talking about 116 Benton which if I remember correcty comes out to or near BHR. This was not the area that CW saw some one. I dont have an exact location as to where CW saw this person but it was in the area or near 112 and 116 Easton.

This is accurate. But did she have a full ride at UMASS or did she also have student loans?
