The way I interpret this is that The warrant would have to include other possible cell Carriers who own the Towers (roaming) in order to gather the information needed.
This was not the case here as the language only referenced Sprint.

I don´t know what we´ve been missing all these years. I think many of us simply focused on the sentence "the identity of this caller and telephone number has not been made as of this date". I believe this was what made Dawn convinced the affidavit was fake, but it really only implies the caller and number were not known by LE, not that they were unknown to Sprint, but Sprint wouldn´t tell without a warrant. So, was a warrant granted? If so, LE now know who called. We don´t.

Strange. I found one Sprint tower on Clark Rd, but not registered until 2007. Another Sprint tower from 1996 is in Derry vicinity.

It would have been great if LE had Sprint clone Maura's shut off phone, a method called triggerfishing. But maybe they did IDK.

This document you produced was done in 2010.

Maura's case was back in 2004 and the affadavit done by Lt. Landry was (almost certainly) done in the days after maura went missing.

I doubt their cell phone training was that advanced at that time.

It did say in your document that you have 45 days (From date of phone activity) to be able to get a hold of info, another reason for why the affadavit done by Lt. Landry must have come very early on.

For sprint to have info on the call it appears that they do based on MCSMOMS article/link. I realize that you go into roaming you can use the nearest tower but Sprint would not have the detailed info on the Ping from a tower that isn't theirs. This is how I am reading at least. I am not a professional in that area. I am only going by what MCSMOM link talks about.
I realize it is difficult to read her link but there is some good info if you scroll way down.
This is just my take on it and I am not saying that what I am saying is gospel. I am only debating.

Thank you aftermath, that is why I got testy. Orky spoke of it as Gospel and still hasn't proven his point. If it was put out there like a thought to debate about then ok no problem but it was not.

Also Orky says he has Mauras phone records and they are not Public info unless the family or LE mailed him a copy. Whats up with that? Just sayin.

No route of travel is known ( at least from what we know) however if she called to get her messages then that would appear on her phone bill and hence no need for the affidavit. Just my take on it.

They know she checked her messages so they should be able to track the tower it pinged from.

I thought you wanted facts to back up statements? Orky has not produced a fact to back his statement about the Londonderry ping to be from VT so who is full of it? Be consistent.

You track cell phone pings to learn about the "Missing" person's movements.

You do not use pings to find out who called the missing person.(that makes no sense).

If I am searching for someone and I turn to phone activity near cell towers for clues, I am not concerned with who that missing person's uncle/grandma or pet raccoon has called that day. I would look at phone records for that kind of stuff, something entirely different than cell phone pings.

When myself and James Renner talked about this issue when he released the affadavit on his website, we both took it as gospel at first.

I even came to the early conclusion that maura must've not taken I-91 North afterall but instead went way out of the way and took I-93 instead (explains why her phone would ping off the londonderry Nh tower.)

But after further research, I found out it was impossible for her to have gone I-93.

She could not make it into range of londonderry NH by 4:37 p.m. for starters.

Second, it would be a four hour plus drive going from amherest east to I-93 and then up and back to Route 302 and where her car ended up. She would physically not have been able to make it to the area she had her car wreck before 8 p.m.

the wreck was in the range of 7-7:20 p.m.

It is a FACT, that maura's cell phone did not bounce off a Londonderry NH cell phone tower on the day she went missing.

Further research showed, that she would've lined up perfectly with being in the range of Londonderry Vt. by going up I-91, the same route her father to this day believes she took.

Orky- another thing that makes me sort of suspicious is that you said that an 8pm call might have been Fred calling Maura. You did say that you didn't have any recollection of the call but Renner Posted Freds cell records and there was nothing after say 5:30 or so if I remember correctly.

I don't have those phone records, so I can't verify if there was another call or not and I told them such.

I just played along with them as we were discussing possible people that could've called into maura's phone at that time of night.

Orky- I know what you are saying about pings but it wasn't Mauras phone that Pinged in Londoderry VT or NH at least not the way I am looking at it.

Sprint went deeper into the info on Mauras Number and to me they are saying that someone tried to call her but her phone was either off or out of a signal area and it stopped at the callers nearest cell tower of londonderry NH.

You appear to just be stabbing at the dark like the rest of us and have no proof of her cell pinging off the londonderry VT Tower. Afterall the affidavit did say NH.

Also Londonderry VT is more that 22 miles to rt 91 at least from all the work I put into looking.

IF I call Orky and Orky doesn't have his cell phone on then my cell will hit my nearest tower and search for Orky with no luck.
