Let me be clear here too. I am not talking about, nor do I think most people are talking about, a "single" bed, more commonly known as a "twin" bed. The only time I have seen a "single/twin" bed in a motel/hotel is a rollaway bed. What I am referring to is a room that has only one bed in it. In most cases, that one bed is a queen or king sized bed. After that, you have "double" bed rooms, which have two beds, usually full or queen size beds. When a hotel room is advertised, or you make a reservation, the rooms are generally referred to as "singles" or "doubles." Any reference I have previously or will in future make to the Quality Inn when I say "single" bed room is to a room containing one bed. It does not refer to the size of the bed, i.e., single/twin size mattress.

I doubt that you would would meet the father of a missing child or take part in an investigation and then go on the forum that has her name and make comments about where you are going, and what you are eating. This sight certainly attracts some weird people. Actually they invited us to stay for dinner but unfortunately we had to get back on the road. Pretty sure it would have been a great meal and entertaining conversation. Sorry we couldn't stay.

THE PUBLIC DOES NOT KNOW THE FATHER / DAUGHTER SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS IN THAT MOTEL ROOM, so there is only speculation and conjecture. there cannot be intelligent debate around this issue. but, i trust the party will continue...on and on.

JWB said he does have some interesting info from work.I am not sure what that means. I really just want the duck be taken care of. I don't get why he makes me say JWB and not his name.

Maruchan wrote: <quoted text> . Again, nobody that I am aware of has proven that Fred Murray had a single-bed hotel room, which Jenkins is stating again as fact. The Quality Inn had rooms with two double beds, still does, most hotels do, and it could just as easily have been one of those. If somebody has proof that it was a single-bed room, I would like a link. And if it was a single-bed room, that still doesn't mean a thing. While nobody has proven for a fact on this forum that it was a single bed room, i think it's pretty clear that it was, for two reasons. First of all when Renner interviewed the LE investigators working this case that is what they said to him. That hwen FM finally sat down for a formal interview 2 yrs later, with 2 lawyers btw, they asked him quesitons pertaining to his relationship with maura and why she would leave her dorm at 3am to go stay with him in his single bed hotel room. SO according to LE it was a single bed room. I'm not gonna provide a link, you can dig that up on JR's blog yourself if you want to. Also when you read FM's written statemen to umass LE it implies that it was a single bed room. He doesn't say that, but the way he words it sure makes it sound like it was a one bed room. Even if it was a two bed room that's still highly unusual for a 21yr old college girl to go spend the nite in her dad's hotel. I've NEVER heard of that in all my years of college and all 15 years of living in college towns(Plymouth, burlington & Amherst). Could've happened but it is clearly not normal. Most of my friends in college and these towns are girls and I can tell you for a fact that none of them would EVER do that. Why would they? they have their own room right there. It's just weird. So clearly the question of why is relevant here. WHy would she be going to his room so late at night? Who does that? And then her choice of having the car towed to the hotel parking lot is also very strange IMO, who has a crashed up car towed to a hotel parking lot? who's ever heard of that? what benefit does that serve? Wouldn't the easiest thing to do would be to have it just towed back to the towin co lot and then have it towed from there in the morning? Most girls I know would much rather do that and then tell their dad in the morning on the phone rather than have it towed to the hotel he was staying at.. He would still need a ride to go rent a car and would still need to have the car towed somewere else anyway so I dont see how having it towed to the hotel would benefit anyone, except piss her dad off even more bc now he doesn't just get to hear about it on the phone in the morning, he gets to see it in person all crashed up in the parking lot. I certainly never would've wanted my dad's crashed up car towed to his hotel, I would much have rather told him about it in the morning by phone, like 99% of other kids on earth. Much easier to tell bad news on the phone than in person, IMO, and i think most college kids would agree with that as well. THe whole thing is just strange, the going to the hotel in the first place, the accident at a place that is VERY hard to even have an accidet at anyways, and then the towing of the car to the hotel? That is just strange behavir any way you slice it.

Oh my goodness Granny, You have given me so much to work with! I have to bring my youngest to basketball this morning, so, I'll have to get back to you. I'm sure you have a nasty hangover to deal with,so, drink plenty of water, have a couple of aspirin and no amorous activity with that kind hearted grandson of yours! In memory of JWB before he "Shacked" up with his granny.

I have a quick question before I go; Does anyone know if Fred and Maura's sister are/were as close as Fred and Maura and what is the status of their relationship now? Did Maura's sister attend college? Sorry, three questions! In memory of JWB and Nathan Zuckerman's Allience For The Protection Of Children.

Lots of creative thinking and writing about Maura on JR's blog. The iconic Maura.
She is regarded as perfection and a victim of abduction by some; criminal, and a fugitive to others; capable / intelligent / strong; or plagued by substance abuse, an eating disorder and possibly as a victim of sexual abuse / trauma.
Much credit to JR for digging as deeply as he can, in spite of having no cooperation from her family.
JR's best guess after assembling the facts he has collected in an organized manner is likely to be a more finite and wholly conclusive theory than exists, so far. After all, one would need input from her family, friends and LE to affirm any particular outcome with certainty.
The result should be an interesting book, although probably without a definitive conclusion, unless she is found in the interim. Meanwhile, the debate is a random and seemingly endless rewind; rearranging the puzzle pieces that will never fit until there is a break, a clue.

oooops. someone is duck-image-stealing and self-talking in the middle of the night. i have no interpretation to share on this one, except that it's a strange way to reach out and try to socially relate to others.
