Excellent catch. He says put a trace on it that year, assuming 2004. My post earlier was incorrect.

Maybe driver inattention was date rape drug. SearcherMe never brought up KM that I recall. Odd so many red flags, so little effort.
I find it hard to believe that you didn't do your "case research" on date rape drugs before you mentioned this. Most DRD leave you incapacitated for quite a while. You are unable to walk, nevermind start a car & drive. Not to mention you have no memory of the evening.

In Renner's last post. It mentions putting a trace on MM's social security number. Not sure if that is a legal thing to do to another adult. Also makes me think its weird that she runs away a couple months later. Did FM feel that she would runaway from him one day?
You have it backwards. This was done many many months after Maura disappeared.

You should check out the UMass Scool of Nursing undergraduate handbook. Very strict rules.
It's not as strict as you would think. Considering only what is publicly known, she would probably not have had any problems licensing as a nurse. The general student code of conduct is the same as off campus laws, so probably no issue there either. Of course, I did not pore through this meticulously, and I don't intend to, but I saw nothing that should have worried her too much unless there is more criminal activity that we don't know about.

I find the whole "rape accustaion" that is just being thrown out there as quite puzzling myself personally and hard to believe.
There was some hub-bub (as I understand it) from maura's family about a quote that maura's friend said about her in referring to that Saturday night dorm party (the party as what has been reported was quite small and only consisted of maura, sara, Kate and a FEW friends).
The exact quote that was given in the Quincy Patriot Ledger came from Kate Markopoulos and she described maura as being "Somewhat flirtatious" when Maura drank.
Kate also told maura at that party to just go back to her room and wait to meet up with her dad the next morning.
That would be an odd piece of advice to give someone (a friend) who had just been raped ... Hey go sleep it off, worry about it in the morning.

Orko Kringer I just dug these up real quick

James Renner’s Blog

“Two days before Maura disappeared, Kate went with her and Fred to a brew pub in town and then returned with Maura to Kennedy Hall, where they went to a party at a friend's dorm room. The room was stuffed full of people, some they knew, some they did not, an even mix of men and women. She and Maura drank Skyy vodka mixed with Franzia blush wine, their drink of choice. Around 2:30 am, Kate and Maura left the dorm, accompanied by a male student. Maura said she was going to bed and the male student walked Kate back to her dorm. That was the last time Kate saw her friend.”

Maura lived in Kennedy no?

True Crime Book (Editors of Seventeen Magazine)
“At 2:30 a.m., Maura left Sara’s room telling everyone she was going to go upstairs to her room, but instead she got in her dad’s car and started driving back to his motel.” Orko small party to a room stuffed with people. Obviously someone is not telling the truth. The party was not at the Kennedy hall.

Not sure what point you are trying to prove. DO you think Maura was raped? Why wasn't it reported?

Two completely different sources place the get together at Kennedy unless I am misinterpretating something from the true crime book article which says maura left the party and went upstairs to her room.

Is that some big scandal that the get together was at kennedy or a nearby dorm and how does that change anything citigirl?

regardless of which dorm the party was at It doesn't make maura's decision and more brighter to leave a party in the middle of the night and get out on the road.

And she got raped, knew she got raped, doesn't say anything to the officer at the crash, but decides " I won't say anything" and gets into a tow truck with just the driver. Does that seem like something that would happen? If she was so scared and wanted her father, she wouldn't jump into a car with another stranger.
A University of Massachusetts-Amherst student who confessed to raping a woman was allowed to continue to live and study at school after receiving a warning, the Boston Globe reported today.

School officials punished the student with a deferred suspension -- essentially an advisory -- after the victim in the case reported the incident in November 2009.

Jean Kim, vice chancellor for student affairs and campus life, told the Globe that the oversight was a rare administrative error and the student's punishment could not be overturned or increased.

Such responses to sexual assault on college campuses are not rare. As the Globe reports:

Newly obtained Justice Department data show that reports of sexual assaults on college campuses rarely lead to serious sanctions. Ten New England universities and colleges provided the data as part of a campus grant program overseen by the Justice Department's Office of Violence Against Women.
Of the more than 240 alleged assaults the schools reported between 2003 and 2008, four led to expulsions. The grant recipients in Massachusetts included Salem State College, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Northeastern, Tufts, and UMass Amherst.
UPDATE: The Daily Collegian has more campus sexual assault statistics.

Between 2003 and 2007, 26 reports of sexual assault were brought for review by the dean of students. Eleven of those cases received sanctions - none were expelled, three were suspended - while the other 15 were dismissed due either to insuffient evidence, the victim's request, or the accused student's willful departure from the University, said [Campus Spokesperson Edward] Blaguszewski. UMass has a broad range of sanctions beyond expulsion and suspension, including probation, removal from housing, and fines, he added.
The Collegian also gauged campus reaction to the incident:

"I think this campus makes a big deal about stupid things a lot of times and not a big deal about serious things like this," said UMass sophomore Tim Miller, a natural resources conservation major. "People are getting all of these crazy suspensions for things like downloading music, and something like this happens and gets overlooked."

What's the point here?In my opinion The Murray family had no problem making insunuations about the people who lived in the aframe or the "rusty" knife keep in mind no evidence of foul play but they seek justice. Are you telling me if MM was raped and her father knew he wouldn't be seeking this rapist? He wouldn't want justice, and maybe if it happened it would be a lead in the case. Your telling me he wouldn't be brining this point up when suing for FOI?

Are you also telling me that he knew she was raped but didn't put it in his statement to MA LE? Come on MCSMOM.

My point is to provide you with statistics on why Maura may not have told anyone. According to Fred he told her she was lucky she didn't get a DUI, and her reply was that she hadn't had a drink in a while, which is corroborated by statements her friends made to media. She has inattention and passes out in lobby, if not caused by alcohol, then what? Billy said he thought she was more just upset over the car accident, and she herself said this "is the worse".

Fred took CM brother story to LE. What else was he to do?

it is irresponsible and an absurdity to suggest MM was raped either at WP or UMASS without verification. how easily some are so eager to add to the rumor mill.

Now to be fair, most of us had dismissed the bigfoot and alien abduction theories, after much discussion with some, long ago. Well maybe Yeats hasn't. But all of us with minimal logic skills and the capacity for rational thought have.
