Maura Murray

This topic is too stupid and crazy. Forgive me but I get extremely tired of hearing about Maura Murray. My own theory is that if that bus driver called for help, the police probably spent 35 minutes asking him questions like Who are you? Whats your phone number? What kind of car is it? What color is it? How long ago were you there? By the time they asked all that and THEN went to actually help her, of course she would be gone!

I travel from Franconia to Littleton on a regular basis. The few times I've called for help for someone that looked broke down in a blizzard etc at 2 am, they've spent so much time asking ME questions, rather than just helping them. I can see how it would give someone a chance to disappear (either planned or unplanned). I finally the last time I called police to go help someone broke down "Look, its ONE car on the side of the road heading on 93N between exits X and Y. Do you think you can figure it out now?!!"

God! I'd hate to be the one broke down.....

i guess Renner is now making the NH folks look good to the MM "family". funny how that is!
seems the prevailing sentiment on topix over a number of years has been that some sneaky "dirtbag", boogeyman serial-killer is lurking behind trees in the woods of NH, and that he's gotten away with murder. psychics have shared their voodoo gibberish and profiled this beast...supposedly NH born and raised....on topix.
the snarky accusers have blamed NH residents for their "in-breeding" and one of them reportedly stated the lot of them needs to be "lysol-ed".
oh, and the SBD has been e-lynched to his death by the same group trying to "find" maura.

More than anything else a book can help to solve the Maura mystery.

I truly don't get it! Your daughter is missing and you refuse for 2.5 years to sit down for an interview with the detectives working on your daughter's case? When you finally do consent to an interview you bring two (2) lawyers with you? This is beyond strange, it's creepy and suspicious.

I did defend the people from NH many years back on the MM forum as well as the topix forum that no longer exists when I saw the people up there were being bashed. I traveled up there for 3 and a half years with my sister. We met alot of wonderful people up there that we still remain friends with today and have always thanked them for what they did for Maura and for how they helped and supported our family in our search for Maura. I also emailed people that I never met with my appreciation toward them and the people from NH. So I did try to defend you people. I never once had anything bad to say about the people of NH. You must of missed those postings.

For one I have never called anyone a dirtbag or any other name. You cannot hold me responsible for what psychics or other posters have said. Iam not a member of any team. Just a family member trying to find out were and what happened to Maura regardless of where. Ma or NH. I just want Maura found. By the way Butch used to smile and give us a wave when ever we road by his house and sometimes even talked with us.

I will say that I don't remember citigirl as being one of the others that bashed the area. And we all know who wanted to "Lysol" the area and made other sub-human comments. I think she did another hit and run a little while ago. Fortunately, anyone who did notice her reemergence seemed to know how useful her comments were and expressed themselves about it and then she quickly beat a hasty retreat.

I do have a short memory but I can't say that I remember citigirl as being in that group.

citigirl, i have never read, until now, kindness expressed toward the people in NH who helped in the effort to find Maura. perhaps you stand alone, and apart from Shack and the group of people who have been so outspoken and negative about the people living in the geographic area where her car was found.
Wowzer, herself, has searched the woods for Maura, and she, along with others, have noted the hard feelings caused to NH area residents by Fred Murray's careless actions and disrespect to folks there.
if i were a "family" member in search of a lost loved one, i'd be sure to distance myself from anyone who has created such ill will and has damaged relationships in Maura's name. and there are plenty of those individuals represented right here on topix.

to be fair, citigirl, LG and peri, who have identified themselves as related, however distantly, to Maura's family constellation, have never stepped up to dispute the bashing of NH residents, or refute the calling out of certain individuals, like the SBD, when the team was implicating them. that, imo, suggests they approved.

Snowy I do not know whO LG is but I can tell you Peri is no Relation. You have to look at each poster as an individual and not as a team.

Snowy I have no idea who Wowzer is but I have to thank her from the bottom of my heart as well as others going out searching for Maura. I wish I could personally thank these people but like I said before there are so many people helping search for Maura that I have never had the opportunity to meet. Iam so greatful to these people and appreciate everthing they have done on behalf of Maura and our Family in our search for her. I have never disrespected anyone so I feel it is unfair to put me in the same catagory as others. You must stop and think because people post negative comments it does not mean me or other family members know who they are.

I have not posted in several years. I would like to say thank you Bill. I never have and never will say anything bad about the people from NH. Such a sad and tragic event for our family Mauras disappearance. I wish the circumstances were different but it has given me the opportunity to meet alot of wonderful people from NH that have helped pull together in the search for Maura.
