This is precisely the reason why, tonight, a person who does potentially have information decided to share it on the Maura Murray blog and not on Topix.

Ninety percent for of the people here are great. But there are one or two, Bill being a prime example, who seem to have a genuine desire to prevent meaningful discussion about the case.

The best solution, Bill, is to stop talking about it.

But if you think I (or anyone else) would conform to your "expectation[s] of fairness," then you are the one in need of a reality check.

In this case you are probably right. The new definition here of "meaningful discussion" appears to be to name names, accuse anyone, forget the rights of the people who have no connection other than where they live, all is fair because a girl is missing. Thats a skewed view of reality, but it works here and on other similar venues. The minions eat it right up. SnowyB had the right idea, and I guess it's time to remove myself as well. Well, if anything, old Hans blames John Green. He and his great analytical mind, writing pros, and lack of ability to accept criticism spawned the great Sam Ledyard and Tyler from armPittsburgh. They are his lapdogs, apostles, and minions; they are invading the privacy of people who have done nothing wrong, and probably are tired of wannabe gumshoes taking photos of their property. Jeez, give it a rest, guys or guy. I'm not entirely sure Sam and John Green aren't the same person. Try snagging an interview with Fred Murray or someone at the dorm party. The reality is that a girl left MA heading to NH after telling a lie about a death in the family. After spinning into a snowbank with booze in the car she refused help from the person that stopped to help her. Then instead of going to any one of the 5 houses in plain site she left her car and headed out. These were HER choices. What happened after she left is anyone's guess. No one knows what happened. There is still no evidence that a crime even occurred.

Shack was very good at insulting the people and the whole state of NH even though she had a summer place up here.

I've stood up for my friends and my neighborhood against the name calling and insults for years but it's never going to end. There will always be a new no-it-all that thinks they are smarter than everyone else and can crack the case. Lately I haven't been on the computer much. I've been spending my time enjoying life in my beautiful area of the world. While I do hope that someday soon it's found out what happened to Maura I'm not going to spend my life wondering and being insulted on an internet forum.
After reading the smart as* remarks from Tyler and his buddy this morning it's clearly time for me to follow Bill and Snowy and leave this forum.
If it is ever found what happened to MM it will be from the years of hard work of the LE and CCU and others, not by a bunch of armchair sleuthes drooling over their keyboards and hoping that today is the day that they will crack the case wide open.

The ONLY reason Ledyard and Tyler post here on Topix is because they are on a power-trip. If the case took a so called turn it was either a lie to cover up incompetency or it was substantial evidence.

I agree as no Sam Ledyard shows up in mass and they are both so stuck on getting the topix point of view.

The new information someone posted on sams blog makes me feel ill..What if it was Mauras & no one went to get it.

I almost feel bad for Renner. He put up a really good blog and is doing a damn fine job looking into this case; but it's unfortunately spawned some wannabes who think they can do what the LE, PI's, and locals couldn't do. I think James cares about the case, Sam/John, not so much.

As far as Sam and JG goes, I think both are similiar in their approach and maybe it is the attorney thing.To say that they don't care about Maura is the complete opposite in my view.You might not agree with some of the methods used but they both have invested a tremendous ammount of time to try and shed light on the case and I respect them for that.
