Judged: 4 4 3 I will respectfully consider your points.IMO evidence could turn up anywhere.Nothing can be hastily discounted.Certainly not drama.Nothing misleading, just commenting on what someone has come forward with.If my opinion makes you ill,you may want to consider a "dump" as you so eloquently have called it. |

Judged: 2 2 2 I respectfully disagree here. Why shouldn't some bona fide person bring this up on a MM blog, which he likely only found out about quite recently? Why would such a person go to the trouble of making all this up? That wouldn't make any sense at all. I believe that this person is telling the truth. Whether the backpack has anything to with MM is of course another story. |
When you put it like that, it all sounds fair. But when I read it, it seemed contrived, almost like the JR blog post where the guy says he had MM gas card or she had his. What are the chances? |
|
And that guy wrote back to say he had made it up.~

Judged: 1 1 1 YVW, I jump around a lot in my line of work, and sometimes miss whole sections when I return to my office. Likewise, I get spooked and have to hit send if somebody gets to close to my PC at work. I am the boss and can play on my PC when I want to, but still....Hopefully my points will be understood. JWB, how many blogs are there in all? I've known about not without peril. The rest are new to me. There's another book writer too, right? Could you tell me his name? I've got lots of catching up to do. Thanks |
Judged: 1 As far as Blogs go "Not without peril" done by Sam Ledyard is the only other one besides Jr of course that I check out from time to time. There are others but I don't read them. If you have a chance to try Sams "Maura Search Engine" It is really cool. It searches through everything related to Maura to bring up just about anything that has been discussed or written about. |

Thanks. NWP, I knew about that one long ago. But the community is what I found yesterday. I liked it, saw the search engine, used it and found what I wanted, so yes, it's a good one. |

Ok, I admit I don't know much besides Topix talk. Webslueths, the other forums, I only find and read briefly when I'm looking for something in particular. This new one however, the MM community, this seems like a really good one. We'll see. |
Paris can you try posting a link to that. That used to be the name of JG forum wasn't?

Judged: 1 1 I ask because about a year after Maura disappeared, I found a black backpack in the woods behind the bathrooms at the Pemigewasset Overlook. I needed to relieve myself and the bathrooms were occupied, so I went into the woods behind them and found it in a very secluded spot. I examined the contents and decided to leave it there and call the police when I got into cell coverage area. I saw a NH Trooper parked on the side of Rt.12 on my way home, so I stopped and told him what I had found and where to find it. I gave him my name and phone number, and asked that he contact me if he found it. He never did, and I figured that they wouldn’t release any information anyway. Being a father with several daughters, I’ve been haunted by Maura’s disappearance and have come to the conclusion that Maura probably stopped a passing car to get a ride out of there quickly and was abducted by an opportunistic sicko. There is an abundance of sex offenders and predators up here in the north country. My heart goes out to Fred Murray and her family and friends. I have two more questions. Was Maura a smoker? Also, what kind of beer did she drink? XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX XXXXXXXXX Heading North into NH Maura might stop there first (at the Pemigewasset Overlook) That's off of 93, then continued on over through Sugar Hill on 141 then onto 302 into Woodsville,(I suppose via Route 112) I'm sure I've said it wrong, but google it. I recall thinking Maura had about an hour to spare and what did she do with the time. Well, the Pemigewasset Overlook is about 1 hour from where the car landed. Anyone else think this is interesting or am I way off? |

People are unsure if Maura took 91 or 93 0n her way North. If she took 93, she may have stopped there, Leaving or forgeting her backpack at the restroom area and continuing on.
Not sure why this bugs me, and maybe it's nothing. |
