surprisingly there is a lot of support for beagle on this message board. many posts about how harmless he is and how smart he is but how well do these people know him? Do they know him off of the board? what are they using to drive the conclusion that he is so harmless? we know he has threatened to murder a family member and we know he at best appears to enjoy mocking a family that is stuck in a permanent mourning process and implying that he has something to do with the disappearance of a young woman. people that exhibit antisocial behaviors are often the very type of people that commit violent crimes.
I dont know that beagle is involved with this disappearance anymore than any of the other posters on this board know that he is not. the only real thing that we know about him is that he displays antisocial behaviors which is not a good indication about his character

In case anyone cares and for those that think that the area papers don't do enough to bring attention to Maura Murray....
The front page of the North Country News has a picture of Maura and an article written by Helena. On another page it is covered with pictures of Maura and Fred standing by the tree and a poster with her description and information. And then on a third page there is a large poster with a picture of her 10 years ago and beside that picture is one that she could possibly look like now.
Three pages in this popular paper. That should get everyone's attention.
I'd like to add that NCN has had pictures and articles about Maura from very near the beginning. There are also other area papers that have reminded the readers of Maura being missing with articles and pictures.
