Thats slick. very effective way of avoiding the topic at hand. accuse me of being somebody else. now little children how about we stop playing games and answer the question? Does anyone really think the authorities would ever come out and tell the public that a murderer was using YouTube to mock his victim's family? if you believe they would do that in what context would they release that information? what advantage could they possibly gain by admitting that?

am I the only one that thinks james Renner is getting worse and worse by the day? his latest post he writes that she was running away no doubt about it. I suppose that could depend on what your definition of the word running away means but to say no doubt about it is just factually inaccurate. in my experience running away would be defined as planning on not returning. there is no evidence that she was not planning on returning. she had clothes and alcohol for a few days and she told her professors she was going away for a few days. where is the evidence that she was running away no doubt about it? for a person who claims to be such an expert on this case I think JR needs to get some basic facts straight

you can presume it was her assigned dorm room, or know it was her assigned room, if you've verified it, but to state "She was done with school." and "She wasn't coming back." is conjecture.
correct me if i'm wrong; i don't know how high or low the bar should be for you to make such statements as fact.

That third page poster is renner's ad. He places that in what would be a memorial paper for someones daughter/sister. With his url plainly listed as if he has some stake, other than financial in this case.

And Wowzer and Snowy, thanks for the well wishes. Definitely on the upswing. I don't envy anyone who gets this bug though. On Friday it wiped out 75% of our staff.

i believe she "ran" away from school / friends / family / academic life, but that's speculation, as well. not fact.

Says renner. So it has been spoken, so it shall be. Take it on faith people. Like all of his other statements. I still, after all this time, am waiting for some evidence of anything that you have said. That we didn't hear years ago, but still isn't proven. Do us a favor. Just this one. PROVE that the dorm was packed because she wasn't coming back. Just this one will lend credibility to many of the other things you have said. But you haven't proven at all.

In my mind, by definition she "ran away". What we don't know is for how long or for what reasons or to what ends.

how do you know she was done with school and wasn't coming back? how can you state that as a fact? do you know something we don't? the scant evidence available to the public indicate otherwise as she went through the effort of calling her professors and a job and making up a story so her absence would be excused. that indicates an intention to return, where are you getting your information?

And yes. We are to take it on his word.

I would have called my profs and job and made up the story not only so I could get back. But also if I wanted to be sure to get five, six, maybe seven days head-start. My family doesn't know what I am up to. Profs and friends "know" what I am doing. So who would be looking for me? No one.

I have not heard definitive evidence yet, from anyone in the know, if the dorm wasn't unpacked, or if it was re-packed. But renner "knows". His proof. His word, that he knows.

And to me her takeoff isn't clear evidence if she was leaving for a few day jaunt, or for good. Maybe he thinks this is what they call suspense. I really haven't paid any attention to it for years. It is the same rehash of the same information. Just dropped in to mention to those few who don't know, this information has been around for years. Don't worry everyone, renner will have this solved in no time.

that's terrible - seems unavoidable. i'm careful to keep gloves on in public transportation, and try not to come into contact with public areas in the office….but, still. sorry. awful.
glad you're on the other side of this. i'm enjoying my hot cider brew….cider, orange juice, mulling spices, oranges and lemon. hope your appetite returns!

Finally ate a real meal since Tuesday night. Couldn't taste a thing but its good to be able to eat.

Door knobs. Watch out for door knobs. They will get you every time. I have no idea how I contracted this but fortunately my family hasn't contracted it and I am past being contagious.

Causation/Reductive fallacy. You can't take a case so complicated make one premise - "she packed up her dorm" to form two conclusions "she was done with school" and "she wasn't coming back" - No way.

Hey everyone. Apparently some of the people on renners site think they may have been had. That he isn't going to solve this mystery like he said back in, was it November? Remember when he was closing in on the person in Quebec who looked like Maura. What are the odds? I mean someone in a city of half a million people, there might be someone who looks like Maura. Well, there is some solid investigative work there. I wonder if he will be able to find anyone who looks like Maura in Boston with a population of 630,000 people? What is your guess?
