I Quit wrote: Have we achieved anything positive or have we only dug up disconnected dirt? We have achieved entertainment. Good entertainment or bad entertainment is immaterial. Any one who thinks we are doing anything more is either writing a book or is delusional. If I am not entertained I move on and I can live with that. I do not regret my time spent on this entertainment as I expect nothing more.

FM is silent about his knowledge, as are investigators, but the public, 10 years later, builds endless theories that cannot be proven and lead nowhere. likewise, it gives other posters longevity for having to counter-argue and set the record straight. some posts assert historical "knowledge" that is so mixed with fallacy and twisted by repetition that it would be exhausting to address them, even though they appear less frequently than in the past. i think that's why Bill keeps it simple and sticks to dealing with the Shack-line-of-reasoning. I threw my theory out only to explain why her dorm might be packed. Remember the sequence of events was JR made a post she was running away to canada and used - she packed up her blongings. I showed another possible reason why her dorm was packed. I wasn't expecting follow up questions but now everytime I answer them you turn your Phalanx on to shoot it down. I get it I don't know all the facts. Just a theory. They're plenty of other more important cases that we will never know all the facts and only have educated theories of what actually happened. I like debating things and I like researching things like this thats what makes it entertaining for me. I welcome any and all criticism because that is the only way I will be able to develop personally.

Do you really believe Maura was going to stay in a Penthouse by herself? Nobody books Penthouses for themselves. She was interested in the sort of double-bedroom condos the Salamones had. Wrong. The Seasons Resort has "two-bedroom," "townhouse," and "penthouse." The townhouse is one bedroom plus loft. I called them up and said that I was a single person who wanted a place just for myself, but had been told that there were no one-bedrooms available in the complex. The person on the phone laughed and said, no, that was incorrect, that the townhouses were one-bedroom units with a loft and were perfect for single persons. She stated that single people rented those, but that they also rented the two-bedroom "condo" (like the Salamones, I presume), because those are currently cheaper than the townhouse. I asked if the two-bedroom had always been cheaper than the townhouse, and she said no, they used to be the same price. I think it's odd that you are arguing this point.

I love how you think you've found something not factual and point to a one bedroom unit that... sleeps 10. Good stuff. There's no getting around the fact that Maura was looking for rentals too big and too expensive for one person, especially on her budget.

One more thing, Machuran, I find it worth noting that your current address is within that 22 mile coverage zone of the Londonderry Sprint tower.

James Renner wrote: <quoted text> There are 45 minutes still unaccounted for. She had time to meet up, maybe in Woodsville, and then travel in tandem from there, together, west toward their rental. Why not leave that night? Perhaps because her passport was at home in Hanson and this person was bringing it to her. Do I have all the details? No. But this theory, as well as Lighthouse's thoughts, explain the weird evidence better than anything else, imho. This doesn't explain your theory that the Londonderry ping was made by your alleged tandem driver driving up 93 to meet Maura. As I pointed out, please explain why your tandem driver would drive up 93 from Mass/Southern NH, then turn west either 22 miles/35 minutes from Franconia or 25 miles/39 minutes to Woodsville, then go back east on 112 for 75 miles/2hours to Bartlett? At night? When they're in a hurry because they're running away? It makes no sense whatsoever. By the way, you are assuming that Maura drove up 91, and therefore, with Google's timeline, there is a missing 45 minutes. But 91 isn't the only way to Haverhill. What if Maura was afraid of driving on 91? Lots of people are afraid of driving on highways like 91, 93, etc. Once you are on, you are committed to staying on, with very few opportunities to get off the road. If you take the regular two-lane highways, you have many more opportunities to pull over. If you are driving an iffy vehicle, you might feel safer taking the smaller highways. If you are afraid of getting pulled over by a cop for a smoking car, your chances of that are probably greater on 91 than on other routes. So, since NOBODY KNOWS which road Maura took, I can just as easily theorize that she took Route 5 or Route 68/12A in order to avoid the highway for the reasons I just stated. Get the driving directions from UMASS to Haverhill on Google maps, but click on "avoid highways" and both routes will be shown. They both mostly parallel 91, and they both take you directly to Haverhill. They are both slower roads than 91 - Route 5 takes 3 hours, 36 minutes, and Route 68/12A takes 3 hours, 43 minutes to get to the Weathered Barn from the parking lot at UMASS where Maura most likely kept her car. There you have your missing 45 minutes to "meet up" with your purported tandem driver. This theory is as valid as any other. This theory, like yours, cannot in any way be proven. The difference between my theory and your theory is that I'm not putting mine in a book and calling it "fact."

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! !!!!!! You know, I didn't even insult you in my posts (I don't think)- I just asked for clarification of your statements/theories. But you are so insecure and unprofessional that when you are questioned you hunt down people and accuse them of being involved in missing persons cases. Not only that, but you claim to have my actual address. How did you obtain that address? How many other people that read your blog have you hunted down? What the fuck is wrong with you?

Answer your own question then Snowyb, why do you keep coming back every day for several hours of the day to check to see what people have posted, and then go to the lengths of not just checking it but then commenting on everything that people have to say and not in a helpful way, but a way of judgment. Manchuran is trying to create a new topic of discussion and you just spout facts about how this isn't helpful and it isn't in the best intentions of the family. Its a theory that brought own several pages of discussions. I know playing the opposite side is great but do it constructively don't just tare down everything people say, or by your own accord you should just move on and stop reading. But I am pretty sure that you can't, your hooked, you want to solve the mystery like everyone else.

James - Do you have numerous examples of MM looking for two bedrooms? Usually last minute reservations mean you get what you get. I don't see enough to formalize a conclusive conclusion that she was traveling in tandem because of last minute sleeping accommodations. It is also worth noting that - if was running away with a romantic interest what would the need be for a second bed?

It's not just the accommodations. That's only a part of it. It's the fact that nobody saw her get into a vehicle. If she knew the person, she could have climbed in and have been gone in less than five seconds. Otherwise, there would be a conversation on the road and one of the three people watching the accident from their homes would have noticed it. There's the missing 45 minutes. The fact that she had way more booze in the car for any one person to handle. The fact that she waited until after a normal workday to start toward the white mountains. The Londonderry ping. On top of that, you have Scarinza's statement that he believed she was pregnant at the time. Tandem driver makes the most sense, to me. Or the theory with the least amount of holes, anyway.
