Right now I really feel the need to say that there's no taking away the glory from Beth. People just do things they ought not, and sometimes they get called on it. Helena was encouraged to bring this mystery person in contact with one of the many PI's. Didn't work out too well.

In all fairness, Beth may have been like a breath of fresh air in the beginning too. She really did alot to search for Maura and spent alot of her free time going around and around asking questions, checking on leads, and countless hours online too, and all for free or little help. I mean she'd get gas cards and phone cards and lodging, but I know she spent above and beyond that kind of help. Even went to a garage sale at Mr Atwoods house, in cognito, or so she said, and truck stops. She said losing her voice wasa good thing in a way because people thought maybe she was deaf. She had to write everything down, even requests for cigarettes, because people couldn't understand her when she spoke. Anything to try and hear talk of Maura. I was just let down when i found out she was not who she "said" she was. Then again, I admit once again she DID let me think whatever I wanted to think by not correcting me. I was also disappointed to learn she was never in the army from her parents.
