No one said she wasn't missing. That's the point of this forum, yes? I said it's possible she's alive. Lots of people think so. You're welcome to disagree. Not everything that is posted as a postulation needs to be taken literally, Citigirl. Some of us enjoy subtlety and critical thought.
I think I am done here, if anyone would like to join me elsewhere you know where to find me.:)
I'd like to join you however, I don't know where to find you. Is there another discussion going on somewhere? I'd be interested, that is, if I'm welcome as well.

Don't forget the footprints in the snow behind the neighbors house.

There's certainly an abundance of them especially now that the apples are falling off the trees.
It might also explain the prints seen in one of the yards. There are always tracks there in the winter.

More than likely one of those abundant mooses. Since that yard was where the car crashed I'm sure someone would have spotted human footprints going thru the snow.

Wowzer, are you suggesting that the local moose might be the "local scumbags" Fred was referring to?

Oh, come on, now. The hockey bag was full of eggs, scheduled to be picked up by the red truck driven by someone wearing scrubs. It's just that simple. Why can't people see the truth???

are you sure the drivers and passengers airbags are not independent of each other? are you saying that there are no weight sensors under the seats?
I saw no mention of weight sensors, the 1996 S series Saturn was a real basic car. Unless it was mandated by federal law I doubt it had them.

Roto-tilling the earth for vegetarians kills more forms of life than anything!! That's why being a vegetarian and claiming not to kill for food is a joke.

No not at all but they could be in cahoots leaving their footprints in suspicious places to add confusion to the investigation and the posters here on Topix. ;)

Found something... Airbag weight sensors have been mandatory in new passenger vehicles since the 1999 model year. So it´s not likely Maura´s 1996 Saturn did have them.

good job hannah, that pretty much eliminates that theory that the two airbags deployed indicated a passenger . It doesn't mean there was or wasn't a passenger

never.
and whether the glove was worn and scented or never worn. and why her room was packed, and why she brought her textbooks along in the car.
so many years, so few facts, and worse, so much misinformation.

i think it must be difficult to have a stranger prying into details that Helena and family may already know, but perhaps have chosen to withhold. in the end, if Renner's book is published, it is not certain anyone will be closer to knowing what happened to Maura; that is, assuming LE knows what Maura's family knows and what Renner intends to find out.

i'd think the Murray family would be willing to authorize / write their own FACTUAL account about her disappearance, if they feel the timing is right, and if they want to set the record straight. otherwise, all of this windmilling (quoting WTH/Bill) on forums has been a useless exercise.

that SOCO / SOHO? piece was inconsistent with some of the information that's been discussed and written about over the years.

what's next?

Snowy, snow that has been around for too long eventually melts and evaporates. A fact of nature.

You suddenly turned nasty on Kitten just because she overshadowed you on some bank teller issue nonsense. Your petty jealousy and bitterness drove her off this forum. Now you are trying to regain some credibility by tromping down the middle road trying to attract people from both sides. Your jealousy and pettiness was all to evident. Pathetic. And so very, very, very childish.
