actually, she is one of the reasons i remain here....WTH/Bill is a close second. they seek facts, and tell it like it is. another competing reason for my unfortunate tenure in the eyes of some, is, of course, that i look forward to the day when there is news about Maura's location.
all in all, i can imagine the original MMM forum was quite intimidating to kind, well-meaning people who once wanted to help "find" Maura.

I came to the forum after hearing about it on our local news thinking that maybe I could be of some help living in the area. Boy I changed my mind in a hurry.
I watched my friends, neighbors, PD and the whole state being called scum,illiterate, rats in a nest etc.etc. I also watched a couple of locals and a few others get squashed like a bug for daring to have different ideas than the "group" or asking certain questions that never got a reply.
It doesn't take much of a brain to figure out I wasn't going to put myself into a position where some nasty ugly, hateful people could also call me names and ban me from the forum if they didn't like what I had to say. There were many more than me that just lurked as it was obvious the forum was more about calling the locals names and accusing them of having a part in her disappearance than it was a forum to discuss the case of a missing girl and try to figure out what happened to her.
There was one man there that had the decency to stand up many times when the bashing went on and tell them it was wrong. He told them till he was blue in the face and when it did absolutely no good he finally left. He knows who he is but probably doesn't know he had a cheer leader team rooting for him.

It was openly stated many times the harm she was doing but yet no one said a word to her or any of the other bashers.Why was the bashing allowed to continue for years? Can you tell me why citigirl?

I supported the people way back and was willing to do an interview with white wash way back because I felt bad with what was being said.
