Snowy if you read what Wowzer said . Wowzer had stated way back that he/she was quiet on the MM forum and just watched the bashing that went on. But yet when I came back several months ago posters wanted to know why I personally did not go after posters for what they said. Have I said good things about the people from NH. Yes I have. But have I personally gone after a poster? No I have not.

Iam not on any campaign to drive home a message on how wonderful the people from NH are. Through out my years of meeting people from NH I personally have found the people from NH to be wonderful. Sorry if you disagree with me but thats my opinion.

Now it's gone from the first several years to the first couple of years that you didn't have a computer. Sigh.
If you were on the old MM forum then you had a computer.Show me where I asked if you personally "went after" specific posters.

first several years first couple of years same thing Wowzer. The old MM forum was run by one family member and several years later by Helena. Trust me Wowzer I will look through all your postings and show you. I guess you dont like yourself then. I could care less because you only speak for yourself not the majority of NH. I have met alot of wonderful caring people whom want to know where and what happened to Maura.

Wowzer-" I dont remember you standing up and telling Shack and the other bashers that they were doing wrong" I apoligize Wowzer you only mentioned one specific poster and that was Shack and referred to the others as bashers.

I am going to my place in Mountain Lakes this weekend and I will feel as safe in my house there as I do in the sleepy little town that I live in full time. My neighbors in both places are treated well by me, and in turn, return the favors. Bad things happen to good people everywhere, and people choose to walk away from their life everywhere also. I have no impact on anyone but myself. I alone am responsible for my own decisions, and I alone am responsible for the way I treat other people. I am also responsible for putting myself in situations which may not turn out favorably or safely. Either way--Maura has disappeared. There is more evidence to show that she planned to get away than there is to show that she was abducted or injured or whatever. Her choice....not mine.

I'm pretty much done with the holding back of information/the misrepresenting of information/the bashing of locals by family and, in all honesty, this whole thing. I've met the people who Fred and Helena bashed--I've had conversations with those same people and did not find them at all the way they were portrayed by Maura's family members. For the sake of bringing closure to some, I hope someday it is learned just what her actions were all about. But...I'm disgusted with this whole thing....justifying this ones words, or that ones actions.....it just encourages people to take sides--to form camps, to be timed out in "the tent". It's useless.

I can relate to this. I was posting something on Topix when "somebody we all know" came and pounded me to death by saying how utterly incorect I was. I happen to believe I was correct, because the person on the first MMM who would know,(Woodsville resident), well, she said so. She heard it second hand, but she believed it. After being pounded, I went to the soon to be closed MM forum and saw them all telling "whosits" to go set me straight.
I thought it was hillarious.

All forums attract psychos, trolls, sickos etc. Ff was quite clear that she meant the dissenters ie those that did not follow the party line.

Right. Ducks. Whatever. I keep attempting to say that any and all attempts to limit inquiry about Maura's disappearance are not helpful. ANY attempts - by anyone. I have said repeatedly that I disagree with the FB page deleting Renner's comments and banning him. However, this also means that refusing to discuss the possibility of Maura meeting with foul play in NH is equally unhelpful.

any thoughts about why Renner was apparently attacked at the SS?
