Sometime back I had mentioned footprints that a neighbor had told us about near the accident scene. This person had made it sound like the footprints in this area were unusual.I live in another state and in the city and dont know what is normal for up there at that time of year. City, had you been up in the area as often as you claimed, you would realize that Haverhill, Ma is similar in poulation denisty to the town you are posting from, Norton, MA. There are open areas and there are congested areas. There are a few main streets and a lot of small shops in the congested areas.

These footprints would have to have been on the side of his house since he has a driveway in the back and then woods. Looking from their window it would be hard to tell if it was human tracks or moose tracks.Since the tracks would have been in view of the accident site(the car landed on his front lawn) I'm sure one of the many people that were there would have seen them don't you think? I'm betting on a moose wandering thru. Citigirl didn't you notice the abundant animal tracks in your searches up here?

I had never been up that way until after Maura disappeared and. I dont live in a town I live in a city not far from Boston. Where I live is very congested and there are no open areas. Iam not posting from Norton Ma. I have no idea where Norton is. If you look at my other postings they have said Bridgewater,New Bedford as to which I dont live near either of these areas. I believe it probably has something to do with the internet carrier.

City--Norton is about 30 miles from Boston. The BS is getting a bit thick.

Citigirl...don't let the previous posters try to confuse you...Maura disappeared in Haverhill, NH... NOT Haverhill, MA. I do recognize that you cannot understand a population of 10K within a land area of 51K. I remember offering my "big acre and a half" for a search and was ignored. Critter prints, I can only identify if before sun melts. Glad you clarified Laurie was never physically able to make it North. I remain optimistic that Maura's fate will be solved through CCU.

Lauren wrote: <quoted text> Yes, based on technical reasons, nothing sinister there. Dawn was kind hearted and meant well, I guess she was wrong. Everyone makes mistakes etc., etc., etc., Dawn made her statement supposing Maura´s phone was turned off. The phone call did supposedly not show up on the bill, which was in the possession of Sharon Rausch. According to family there were NO incoming calls to Maura´s phone that afternoon. So we all, Dawn included, believed the "Londonderry call" would have been made to Maura´s phone when it was shut off. And, if the caller did not leave a message on her voice mail, it would indeed be impossible to trace or even know it had been made other than by a priori knowing who made the call. So Dawn is right, provided the phone was shut off or out of service. BUT - it now appears a call was received. So, either family has not been telling the truth or Maura did have a second phone or they found out by checking phone records of some other person who made the call. If the poster who claimed "golden egg guy" lived within the 22 mile radius of the Londonderry tower is right, I am inclined to believe they found the call by checking his records. The question is - did it go unanswered or not? Dawn knew what she was talking about, it was us who just wasn´t enough into conspiracy mood...

This is not to say some of these leads shouldn't be given some looking into, but this is a matter for trained professionals like law enforcement or competent PI's. Peering into peoples cars and checking out peoples homes and property uninvited isn't the job or place for civilians. Also IF something were to be found and handled then the chain of secure custody by a trained professional has been broken and may render the evidence useless in court.

Am I missing something, I keep reading references to the Londonderry ping. I realize this seems to be fact, BUT the relevance seems to be way overblown. It could have been ANYONE or ANY company calling, it doesn't have to be a clandestine solved the mystery Perry Mason moment phone call. While I agree it would be nice to know what the ping was, but I think there are other facts in this case worth more time, effort and argument other than the infamous PING! To me the more important details are her intentions and reason when she left Mass. and perhaps most of all, was that Maura that Forcier (the contractor) saw miles away on that fateful night. Why she left may one day be solved but verifying it was her Forcier saw we likely will never know unless she is found.
