Good find snowy. This has been the problem from the beginning. I agree 100% with everything this poster says.so, here's a post on MM is Missing FB page from a thinking individual:
Robin Ann Barron
"I have to say that I don't understand wanting public assistance to solve Maura's case while also only permitting certain possibilities to be discussed. If Maura chose to run away for whatever reaosn and has started a new life elsewhere, that is her business. I hope that doesn't sound harsh. If Maura was a vicitim of a crime, an investigation had to look at all possibilities and all information - and if LE is doing the investiagtion, they WILL find all relevant information. There is no information that Mr. Renner has found which could not be found by LE. If the intention is to limit inquiry in any particular way, I don't see how it can help to find out what happened to Maura.

Judged: 2 Sounds like the FB forum is just a copy of the first MMM forum where the posters were allowed to talk only about certain subjects and replies were deleted at will by the moderater Helena. |
Judged: 3 3 3 Yes, that's exactly how it is. But the problem is that a good proportion of the 2100-odd people in the group will pile all over you for suggesting a new idea, which is exactly how Helena/the family wants it. That particular forum has been nearly silent since Renner revealed that Maura was seeing other men. They can't argue with facts, so they just don't discuss. Pretty spineless. I never post there myself anymore, just read what others say. |

Judged: 3 3 3 MrX wrote:**I just seems so unlikely that a predator would pass by in that short window of time when MM was most vunerable.** While not impossible I totally agree that it's very unlikely. I say this because I've walked this road and others nearby many times and never felt unsafe or had any problems. I don't think your theory is crazy at all. |

Judged: 3 2 2 I'm very familiar with the pile-ons. Guess not much has changed except maybe Renner has upset the applecart in some way. |
Judged: 2 2 2 let reality be reality, as i'm sure you do. reality is that the same show moves from forum to forum. i especially agree with ms. barron's quoted opinion: " If Maura was a vicitim of a crime, an investigation had to look at all possibilities and all information - and if LE is doing the investiagtion, they WILL find all relevant information. There is no information that Mr. Renner has found which could not be found by LE." |

Judged: 2 2 2 fortunately, i am not interested in following. i've seen enough over the years right from my seat here, and like Wowzer, have refused to engage in another playground. some truly wonderful, caring and intelligent folks have been kicked to the curb in the name of MM. they are not here anymore. no, kitten, i didn't contact you or write on any MM associated FB page. ha!ha! gender? who can tell these days. i'm told it's a choice. |

Judged: 2 1 The most direct route to Bartlett from 112 would be to take Bear Notch Road. This road is closed in the winter though. |
Judged: 3 3 3 "Could"that is the the key word. All information of course Could have been discovered by law enforcement but it is obvious that LE has not discovered all information or the case would have been solved by now. NH just implemented its cold case unit 2 years ago so i am sure they have many cases to go through. This case involves at least two states NH and Ma so that makes the task of info gathering a little more difficult as well. |

Judged: 2 I'm right there with you. I'm on those roads all the time and have never felt unsafe or even mildly threatened (unless it smells like Black Bear!) |

Judged: 1 1 i agree with ms. barron. LE is presumed to have had any and and any access to Maura's family, friends and acquaintances. they have not released detailed info to the public. they're 7 years ahead of renner. |

lovely phrasing.
rewrite: LE is presumed to have had any and all access to Maura's family, friends and acquaintances. |

Judged: 1 1 1 My sincere apologies. It was not you who questioned my reference to the CCU maps - it was Snowy. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Regarding "MrX"'s post: I think it is entirely possible that Maura planned to start over elsewhere - and possibly for no reasons which have come to light thus far. She is an adult. She has that right. She could choose to start another life and none of us has the least idead why she would do that or why she wouldn't contact family or friends ASSUMING that she has, if that's what she did, contacted no one. We don't know that either. I don't think there's anything to be gained from NOT looking at Maura's life before she went missing. Here's a thought which just occurred to me: many see "obfuscation" - "red herrings" etc. It's an assumption that any such misdirections are intentional and understood or condoned in some way by Maura's family. What if there are obfuscations and red herrings but Maura's family is as baffled by them as are many of us? If there are such distractions, how can we possibly know the original source of those distractions? They could be innocently passed along by those who have been equally hoodwinked. Someone somewhere in this whole puzzle knows exactly what happened. I have no idea if this is someone who frequents any of these forums - it might be, it might not be. Still, when anyone makes global assumptions about "the locals" or "the family it seems worth considering that a partuclar member or memebrs of either group MIGHT know more than is being shared. Sorry this is so vague, but that's intentional. I don't KNOW any of this, but I wonder if it's possible. |
|
Judged: 3 2 2 I agree that le has access to family acquaintances etc but that doesn't mean that that is where all the answers lie or does it? I am sure Mauras family wasn't privy to all that was going on with Maura. I have a 20 year old daughter and as much as I think I might know. I also Know that there are lots that she might not share with us. |
|
Judged: 2 1 1 I read your post again and I must say your comment about the family being 7 years ahead of Renner is ignorant. You are assuming that the family knows all and that not onl;y that renner is behind the 8 ball but so is everyone else that is posting because they are not family. This is the underlying problem in why locals etc feel slighted. I guess you don't need anyone's help because you have the knowledge? Family members know what the answer is? Is that what snowy is saying? |

Judged: 2 1 Hmm, I'm understanding it in a different way. I take it that she was saying the LE is 7 years ahead of Renner, not family. Instead of you assuming what she meant why don't you ask her how she meant it before jumping all over her. |
Judged: 2 ditto! |
