Sophie, can you link to the FB page? I'm curious, and a search returns many Fred Leathermans.and lest we forget, "Mason" pretty much if not explicitly accused FM of murdering Maura. I'm more than a little surprised and disgusted if I'm the only one who finds that accusation sickening and insane. But read "Mason's" FB page, and you'll get an idea of his mentality, far beyond paranoid.

Judged: 2 2 2 1) She said he saw the Crash 2) No idea where the female is why would she say No idea where the female is? where they watching the scene waiting for someone to call the back and witnessed her leaving the car or is it just poor communication from BA to the female? |

Judged: 2 2 2 Maura struggled to get out of her Saturn because the car door was hitting against a snowbank, Atwood recalled when interviewed for this story from his new home in Florida. There was as much as two and a half feet of snow on the ground in the area. If he saw Maura struggling to get out of the car don't you think he would have helped her or have gone back to the scene or even told his wife that she was stuck in the car. |
|
Judged: 2 2 2 BA just left the scene and she was in the car behind the wheel and couldn't get out of the car because of the snowbank. One would assume she was still in the car. |

The saturn was against the snowbank in front of Marrottes House in front of his Balsam trees. Marrotte would have been able to see the scene pretty well.

Judged: 1 1 There was no where's near 2 1/2 feet of snow on the ground. I looked at the house we eventually bought that week (about 3/4 of a mile from the crash site) and there was grass showing throughout our back yard. It was BRUTALLY cold later that week, but snow was minimal. |
|
Judged: 2 2 2 That has been a issue for a while. What I find interesting (if true) Is that he left that job shortly after Maura went missing. Don't know how accurate that account is. |
|
Judged: 1 1 1 That came directly from the newspaper article . They were interviewing BA |
|
Judged: 3 3 3 I wrote the very last part of that sentence starting with "If he saw" The 2 1/2 feet of snow appears to be from BA. Maybe the plowed snowbank was that high. |

The tree from the pictures w/ the blue ribbon looks close enough to the street to have plenty of snow piled there from a plow. I hadn't considered Fred, ever, as the person Maura was meeting, coming from Eastern MA up 93 & making the call near Londonderry. But it does make sense. After Maura's first accident, didn't Fred rent a car & go to Connecticut for work? Was he home again in Weymouth by Monday, and heading North to meet Maura? He wasn't immediately available to police when they called. Fred's schedule in those 48 hours will either exonerate him of being the one to meet her in NH or prove it was him. |
