Of course she knows every tiny detail of Mauraīs computer activities. And Fred do as well. Which is exactly why they deem Amherst and Mauraīs life before the accident "not important". Itīs just plain ridiculous. I agree, lets see my sister is missing and I have her PC, naw I'm sure there's no clue or clues in there, I'll just tuck it away and never think twice about it. I'm sure also once they got Maura's PC someone in the family if not everyone wanted to see what was on there. Besides the fact she's missing and there may be answers on it, most people are curious to downright nosy, and that includes me!

http://mauramurray.blogspot.com/2011/08/famil... Now I see where that name is coming from. Laurie Murray is said to have had a baby, Kurt, with this Kevin Noble person. Maybe it had something to do with Kurt? The page being bookmarked with Kurt's picture as some kind of clue? What are you thinking Whiston? Don't run off please after making such a comment as that.....

Just me, if you look at Laurie Murrayīs obituary, you see someone named Beth Ahlstedt has made a guestbook entry. This is Kevin V Nobleīs sister.

The only relative I saw listed was David, the one he killed. They claim that Kevin was afraid of David. But like you said, does he have a red truck or something? I saw Kurt as 23 and living in Hanson, but then these things do get outdated. I'm listed somewhere I have never been, ha.

Nuts and lemons... so we are definately on to something. Anyhow my purpose for mentioning the obit and the guest book entry was to establish a connection between Laurie Murray and this particular Kevin V Noble, which I consider done. I suppose whiston had a purpose for throwing this name out, so I would love to know if there is suspected connection to the actual disappearance. Anyone interested in sleuthing out his line of work? Any connection to landscaping, forestry or the wood industry? His connection to NH and Haverhill, if any?

I would but I'm still drinking the lemonade. Geesh, touchy, touchy people sometimes.
I was thinking a bit about how the picture of little brother Kurt, was bookmarked to a page titled: A question of life or death. For a girl who "wishes she could disapear", this might be a good ruse. Same goes for the rag in the tailpipe.
If it's really true that Maura shaved the high snowbanks, on her left rounding that corner, it's no wonder Mr W-Man said "it doesn't happen like that" People don't spin out like she did.
Back to this other person now. I wouldn't know where to start. It's just not fair to look at someone like that in my eyes, not unless there's reason or some kind of proof. That's why I wish Whiston would come back and explain.
Same for the pictures he said were posted on Go Stowe, the day Maura vanished.

That would also be a clue of sorts, a hurumpha, so long everybody kind of thing.
But now that I think of it, someone could have had Maura at Amherst. Her, and the laptop, that is, if the IP matches as coming from Maura's PC about those emails that she sent out. And maybe Maura never made it out of MA after all.

That's why I wish Whiston would come back and explain. Same for the pictures he said were posted on Go Stowe, the day Maura vanished. I believe mr Renner has solved the mystery of how the accident happened. Iīm even more mystified about the rag though. One possible explanation Iīve been thinking about is it was put there after the accident, either by Maura herself or by the presumed companion, to make (or try to make) the car inoperable or malfunctioning. A big deal was made by family of the Saturn being unreliable and how Maura refused to drive it even around Amherst. But obviously it lasted the rather long drive from Amherst to Haverhill without incident. As for the reason for looking into mr Noble and any possible connections to Maura or her disappearance, in my mind him being a convicted killer is enough reason to jusify that. Heck, we have a missing person, and her brotherīs father is a killer, and he shouldnīt be looked into? I too really wish whiston would clarify, though. I would also love to know more about the posting to "Go Stowe". It shouldnīt be too hard for LE to get ahold of the originating ip. If nothing else, they had Mauraīs computer and should have checked out every activity on it (I donīt douby they have), and I hope any other computer Maura may have had access to. The posting was said to have been made by a relative. Would this mean it was made from a relativeīs ip, or the posting was made in the name of a relative? Please help, mr Reeeeeenneeeerrrr....!

Remember the guy dubbed the BTK Killer? He was unaware that by making a CD at his place of worship, that all that info would be imbedded in the CD he sent. That's how they prosecuted him in part, this CD adding to other evidence. It had the church pc info on it, and he was a person of interest.
So let's say the emails from Maura came from Joe Blow's laptop. Too late to check that out? For this to work, there'd be someone beside Maura making the excuses for the head start on her run, or their run. For example, Maura really does all that looking up.....and this person who knows that lures her to their place, sends the info to professors from their own computer. Some email providers, provide cover too. But the email itself would show what computer the email was sent from.
Oh, and wow. I did not know this about Kurts dad. Kurt wonders what did we do to make you turn and go away from our love.........who's love does he mean?
All he should be thinking is that she broke down in NH. Makes me wonder if there was a falling out over the holidays in Hanson?

What interest would Joe the Killer have in posting a missing ad for Maura the day she disappeared, before anyone even knew she was missing (according to the official version of things)? Obviously someone believed (or wanted others to believe) she might have taken off and might be in Stowe. Her sister? Father?

Just me, herīs the obituary of a woman named Elizabeth D Noble of Hanover, MA (remember who else was/is living there). http://www.legacy.com/obituaries/southofbosto... Note in this obit two of her children are Kevin V Noble and Beth Noble Ahlstedt, the person who commented on Laurie Murrayīs obituary. So, not only has Kevin a connection to Maura through Kurt, his mother also lived in Hanover, just like Mauraīs sister. Probably just a coincidence, but she had been working as a school bus driver. I strongly suspect her employer was First Student, just like SBD...

One more coincidence - or not?- her d.o.d. is February 4, 2009. 5 years to the day of Mauraīs disappearance. Her death was due to an accident, would love to know more about circumstances...

Well, all I can think to say is MR Renner needs to go back to the source.......Kurt. Ask him about his dad, his aunts and uncles. Did they come around and so on, and how was the relationship to his dad, etc, in terms of Maura. Thanks Whiston, here's just one of many on that gas theft. http://www.thebostonchannel.com/r/24671462/de...

I was just thinking about the stalled Saturn, oh no....lol
Who if anyone said the car was not drivable? Why did Fred say the car started right up? Who found the rag in the tailpipe? Fred? Lavoyes? Why did CS say this is something Mass people do? (because he was quoted in the paper as saying so).
Rounding that corner (weathered barn area),and shaving the ice solid snowbanks.......
How could the drivers side take such a beating? There was nothing else to hit as she apparently swung around and back into the snow, and some trees.
She corrected the car to be paralell to the road. Butch said it was half ways in the road and he kept driving down there so he could check on the person.

Running into that ice solid snowbank, or shaving it as told by the EMT, and doing all that damage to the drivers side tells me she WAS heading the other way and did sort of a back flip swing around.

Butch said it was half ways in the road and he kept driving down there so he could check on the person. As far as I know, nobody ever said the car wasnīt at all drivable. It was said from the very beginning it was running on 3 cylinders, was unreliable, and not suitable for a longer drive b/c it might break down. There is no reason it wouldnīt start up b/c of running on 3 cylinders. According to Rennerīs blog and I believe older news reporting, the rag was found by Lavoie (sp?). If true CS remarked about the rag to witnesses (doesnīt make sense he would), it would have had to be found already at the accident site. It does make sense to me the driverīs side was badly damaged if she slid through the curve, slided from right to left (I have experienced this!) and the driverīs side shaved the snow bank while going east on the left side of the road, then, as she probably tried to steer back to the right side of the road, spun around 180 degrees and ended up facing west in the eastbound lane. Nothing odd or mysterious here, after getting the new version of the accident via Renner. What is mystifying to me, is why the white rag was there in the first place. It was said to have been fairly clean, yet stuffed some ways up the tail pipe. It couldnīt have been there for long, and it wasnīt put there as a warning to other motorists as it wouldnīt have been readily visible. I have started to wonder if the rag was put there to make it look like the Saturn was in worse condition than it really was. There is something about that car that doesnīt add up. There was so much talk about it being unreliable, and how Maura refused to drive it even around Amhurst, yet she didnīt hesitate to drive it to the White Mountains on a February night. My take on this is - it worked ok, even if not perfect, and Maura knew this very well. Weather she wanted to run away permanently or just for a week, or go away to commit suicide, she wouldnīt have been driving a severely malfunctioning car, knowingly risking being stranded on the road side. Something is up with that car, and it was for some reason necessary to get it out of Amherst.

Hannah B, I concur with your observations there, not least your assumption that the Saturn had to be removed from Amherst,MA. I personally believe that the Saturn might well have been involved in the hit-and-run incident in downtown Amherst when Petrit Vasi was likely hit by a car and left at the roadsi.de Maura may not necessarily have been driving the Saturn at the time, but likely a close friend of hers to whom she may well have lent the Saturn.
