Judged: 5 5 5 Eurobserver, here we call it an investigation, not secrecy. Renner already stated on his blog that NHSP are not releasing any more info. because it is an investigation. I'm just as curious, but we will probably never know. |

So, basically we have four different and competing groups on this forum:
1. Those who more or less suggest that there is some kind of cover-up within the ranks of the Murray family regarding Mauraīs past and the events leading up to her disappearance and perhaps beyond? 2. Those who favour the theory of Maura as a run-away, either by premeditation or by default as a consequence of her NH accident. 3. Those who suggest that Maura fled from her wrecked car and by doing so perished in the cold due to "natural reasons", however horrible. 4. Those who suspect some kind of foul play, not necessarily excluding a possible rogue LE element. It is interesting to ponder the fact that most private investigators involved in Mauraīs case do seem to lean towards the foul play theory, one way or other. I wish that one or two of these PIīs would consider getting involved on this forum again, as has happened previously. |

But you have to be totally bored out of your head for hours, days, weeks at a time. So if you've been struck down with chronic boredom, go here, you'll feel better. http://www.pacer.gov/ |

Judged: 1 1 1 I have to agree, Rogue cops are rare, ever since Drew Peterson gained notoriety the rogue cop theory's seem to have gained momentum. Cops are like everyone else, there's super dedicated cops, and there's some mail it in cops and those that fall in the middle. They also have to make judgement calls going on experience with certain situations and facts on hand and sad to say sometimes it all goes to hell. The one case that I feel LE dropped the ball is Brianna Maitland, it was days after a Vermont trooper found her car that it was even brought to light, and the parents weren't notified immediately. I also feel perhaps the state trooper in Maura;s case may not have filled out a report as it seems he just more or less passed by and Officer Smith perhaps felt his help wasn't needed at the time. If theirs nothing to report, why fill one out. The trooper may have just given a verbal briefing to his superior after it became evident there was more to the situation and that was it. |
It's no longer 6 degrees of separation. It's down to 4 point something. Everything's connected. Somehow.

Judged: 1 That's Fred's rendition.......what do the police report about it and why not contact local LE (local to him, not the accident) to handle it? |

Judged: 1 1 That can't be!!! hanah said it was posted recently by a reputable poster (to be named later) and prior to this Hannah sent me this post about paying attention and learning. Bill deserves lots of attention. He has been a tremendous asset to this and previous fora with his professional knowledge and intelligence. Pay attention, you may actually learn something. |
