I had wondered if she bought the wine at shaws and used the atm to withdraw but I wasn't able to locate any shaws in that area with citizen bank atm most are in shop n saves from what I can see. she may have still stopped into shaws for the wine. Do grocery stores in mass sell alcohol? Just thinking.
Grocery stores in Mass do not sell alcohol.

In post #7366 you state "I HAVE IT".
And on #7367 someone else seemed to think it was a liquer receipt since that was the topic.

So many on more than one forum have been going around and around for years wondering about what was on the receipt. It's no wonder there's so much misinformation out there.
What possible reason would you have to keep this small part of the puzzle under wraps and not allow the information to be made public?
I really don't see where it would make or break the case to know if the wine and other liquers were on the receipt. Why let the misinformation grow bigger and bigger while you just sit back and let everyone keep guessing, all the while you hold the answer in your hand. Pretty sad.

citigirl reply to this: Its an ongoing investigation and the only thing I care about is finding out where and what happened to Maura.

Maybe he/she got upset because their game of using different monikers was found out. Or maybe it was someone telling him/her to go to the authorities or something to that affect.

This was by Roz, Nov 10 2010
Nov 10, 2010 Maura had not made up the story about someone close to her having died. Those tears were real and her response, reaction had been spontaneous. She had not boxed her personal items for no reason. While she had absolutely nothing to do with this person's death, news of this death sent her reeling into emotional turmoil and a complete change in terms of where she physically and psychologically wanted to be. She had planned to move only after learning of this person's death. This plan to move, the auto accident and her disappearance were all separate and in no way connected. Maura had absolutely no plans to disappear. Her destination that evening was cut short by what happened to her enroute to Stowe, VT. She had no plans to intentionally disappear but had intended to reach her destination of Stowe. Attempts to connect the 3 incidents indicated above, have contributed to much confusion and misleading information.
My apologies but I am completely lost! Is this factual or someone's opinion?

Detective Columbo replied to a poster that he had never seen a reciept from MM car for any items. The items that were retrieved by LE from Mauras vehicle in which I believe Detective Columbo was talking about with what he said in his posting is what I was replying to when I said I have it.

I suspect I scared him away. I´m pretty sure he keeps lurking. Or maybe he´s busy dumping more bodies. No 4G network out in the woods, you know...

c'mon, just me...are you really quoting "Roz"? she hasn't claimed her off the wall rants are supported by eyewitness verification, and if she does, she has zero credibility to be believed.

Beagle just made some very good points. Why is the past in amherst deemed unimportant? My daughter who will be an NP in May works at a methadone clinic in Cambridge Ma..She claims never in a million years would you guess some of these clients are involved in drugs (Harvard anyone?).Could the phone call&sudden death in the family be the overdose of an intimate?Would be interesting to find out if any young people died unexpectadly in the N.H.-Vermont area at that time. What was the amherst Past?
methadone clinics are located in various cities; of course there are addicted Harvard students and faculty, but Cambridge is, of course, a much larger and diverse population than the Harvard community.

there was not a "sudden death in the family", and so it is useful to know why she lied.

Geez, you think you know everything don't you? Well, the following is information provided back in 2005 by a person close enough to know.
It certainly isn't misinformation unlike you who is so hell bent on making things to appear as if they are.
".....also missing are her license, credit cards, student id and the cash that she withdrew from the ATM and the black backpack. Maura did not carry a wallet. She folded her cash around her plastic items and kept them in a pocket."
and
"...She would have most likely had her packback (sic) on the front seat (the item in which she carries her wallet WHEN she carries a wallet - Maura most often just used her pockets to carry her cash and ID....."
Wowzer, you remember correctly.
to whom, exactly, are these quotes attributable? and then we'll decide if that person/these persons are credible.

<quoted text>
I don't know for sure but hearsay is that he was on his way home and stopped to see if he could be of assistance.
State Troopers often take their cars home. They cover a large area and it would be impossible to drive their own vehicle all the way to Twin Mountain Troop F to get a patrol car if they are needed.
Once they are off duty they use their own personal vehicle
.
Wowzer,
Thanks for this information.
So, it would seem likely that the State Trooper was driving his patrol car at the time he arrived at the Saturn crash site on Rte 112.
If we were to accept the notion that the State Trooper apparently was "off the radio" for some 2 hours following Maura´s accident (does anyone here know the original source of this supposed fact?), then it would seem somewhat strange if the Trooper was indeed heading home from work.
I mean, if he was indeed off-duty at the time, he surely wouldn´t have been expected to be reachable on the radio later that night if he in fact was headed for home.
This rather makes it seem that the Trooper was indeed on duty at the time of Maura´s incident on rte 112 and later that night.
This is a riddle for sure...

We want her found and brought home regardless as to what people think as well as the many others that are still missing.
First sentence by ciutigirl.. I HAVE IT. Maybe this is why people don't believe you have the time?
