It certainly can mess with someones hairdo. Bill I agree, I know someone who got cracked ribs from an airbag. But depending on what she was using to hold her hair back & that it was most likely tied back behind her head, could an impact have an affect on the back of a head? An elastic pony tail holder is pretty strong, unless the impact could break the elastic? I'm just not seeing it.

Thank you= When I first started posting, I had no idea what i was getting into. I frequently have driven by the blue ribbon and couldn't help by wonder what happened to her. I then started doing research like most. I am not into facebook, tweeting or any of that stuff so i had no idea of what social media was all about. I just wanted to find out more info and possibly help by researching. I know the answers aren't here but it keeps things in the forefront. I just never expected to enter a forum so divided ,off track, and posters being so disrespectful to a missing girls family and to others. My only intention for calling any one out was to try and get the conversation on track and that is all. I just don't understand all that transpired before i came on but it really doesn't matter.let it go as you are not in their shoes. A

It really makes me think that it is all about them and some of their harebrained ideas. Bill Unless I say she ran into the woods it gets squashed. I have been communicating with renner a dozen times or more and have spend many hours looking on line. I have gone to the a frame mapped out the mileage etc.. I will be avail if there is another search so let me know.

I have not given hairbrained ideas. If so please refer me to them and I will explain or recind them. If you say hairbrained idea is the possibility that she was picked up by another vehicle. I would say another opinion but not hairbrained. Talk to some others about hairbrained ideas but not me.

Dates for major transitional periods in their lives match. In my opinion, he had nothing to do with Maura's disappearance, but upon arrival near the accident scene, he may have seen who did? He kept driving for good reason. He was caught and remains in a Catch-22 situation? Yes, I believe so. In his Post #2, Beagle made an interesting and foundational observation. Are you speculating? Why the elusive tone?Could you save me the effort of pouring through topix for Beagles Post # 2...What did he observe in an interesting&fundamental way?

Her hair was down.I think it was Maura, the theory that her hair was down because she was meeting up with someone is a good possibility in my opinion. i knew we would soon get back to hair up - hair down. it would be just a matter of weeks!:) speaking from experience, hair-up people usually keep hair-up, unless for a special occasion. my piece of brilliance for the evening.

But it certainly helps in not looking foolish when all the same harebrained (the phrase is harebrained not hairbrained) scenarios are run through by all the new people and shown to be not supported by the evidence. Scenarios that don't reflect the evidence or scenarios that you have to make stuff up to make them work have all been done before. They are not new. They still go nowhere because there is nothing supporting them. But again, fantasy is fun, it just doesn't help Maura. Bill

And another comment just to show how little you know about this case and the resulting information. There is not just 7K posts on this forum. There was the thousands of other posts through seven or eight other Topix forums. There were several YEARS worth of information on MM and MMM forums. There were also other forums that have run through the years. All of which had people that you are directly interchangeable with. No difference in the way you think, or don't think and the same bullshit ideas that have no basis in any of the evidence that is known. So don't expect me to fall down and pee myself at your brilliance. We have all seen it before, several times, on several forums. Nothing new here, move along. Bill
