They still go nowhere because there is nothing supporting them. But again, fantasy is fun, it just doesn't help Maura. Bill with that in mind, with facts and certainty what senarios can be ruled out? 1) suicide 2) walked away died from elements 3) picked up down the road by another vehicle and was killed 4) met up with someone she new started new life 5) wasn't in the car at all

It certainly can mess with someones hairdo. Bill Or, her hair may have been down to try to keep her ears and neck warm if the car heater was not working or not working well. SBD said that she was shivering, right? If she had just exited a warm car would she be shivering immediately like that? Just a thought or two.

I was really hoping that Det. Columbo was going to answer this one. Along with the trailer hitch debacle. "More importantly, you need somewhere to attach it to on the Saturn. Care to tell me the point that that strap was attached to on the Saturn?? Windshield wipers, plastic bumper?? Inquiring minds." What's that I hear again..........just crickets. Bill

So don't expect me to fall down and pee myself at your brilliance. We have all seen it before, several times, on several forums. Nothing new here, move along. Bill can't read the ones that are not here. I have read all amherst topix though. If you don't put any value in what posters say i don't understand what help reading posts would offer? I read them anyway. Silly me.

I would toss 4 and 5 for reasons I have gone over and over for years. Not with certainty. But with the known evidence and that is the difference. We can throw out fantasies or you can use the known evidence and pursue the case. If you want to say it wasn't Maura in the car you need to point to compelling evidence that shows that. Otherwise, the mostly likely person to be driving Maura's car who looks like Maura is most likely Maura. Number 4, could have happened but there is nothing to point to that other than a healthy fantasy life of the person who constructed it. We do know that she was drinking and driving (all that splashed red stuff) and had an accident. Look at the police report. Like Scarinza said. It is all too common. What happened after she ran is up for speculation. i.e. 1, 2, or 3. Bill

Its not the idiots (some well meaning) before you who created the useless posts that you should read. It would be the well balanced, excellent rebuttals to the fantasies that I would be suggesting you read, so you don't repeat the useless posts all over again. Bill

We don't know and you don't know any more than the rest of us unless you were involved and no i am not implying that you were.

The mystery of why she was on that highway and the story around who abducted her are not one in the same. Mr. Renner was close with his New City information. However, he was about 20 miles off target. The correct target area is about 3 miles from WP.

I actually agree with you on that. I understand the frustration and that same frustration keeps a majority of us here with hope of finding closure. We can either talk to one another or stare at the screen and look at an old post with anticipation of a new clue. I think we all repeat things in everyday life and there is nothing wrong with that. You just learn to hit the selective hearing switch. posters intent are not to irritate but to learn more from those that maybe have helped to find Maura or have spoken to locals or have followed the case longer.

snowy - your last post was reasonable accept your insult again at the end "it's like nails on a chalkboard to more logical minds." You imply that you are the only logical one and because someone has a different view they are not logical. why do you feel the need to beat people down?
