Judged: 1 1 1 Bumping for Maura, "Worked-up" is an understatement. Actually, because the Saturn had not been impounded any evidence found once it was hauled off from where it was positioned on Route 112, is compromised. If you notice, I in no way indicated I'd visited, sat in or had driven the Saturn....and yet FrmLE has me there at the scene, wherever the Saturn currently sets. Our kind friend, Mr. FrmLE, has a little problem with the "T" word....temper. Easily agitated, and goes quickly into the "attack" mode. Why? My assessment is because he has been attacked on this forum on more than one occasion. Mr. FrmLE, have a nice, cold glass of ice tea and calm yourself. What I did do and most recently did once again was to look at photos of the front windshield of the Saturn and two others looked at them as well. They have experience in auto-body repair and have seen a lot of wrecked cars w/damaged windshields. So please, Mr. FrmLE, cool your jets and sip a little ice tea. Please. |

Judged: 2 2 2 What if the Corolla crashed before the party Saturday night? Maura's friends described her intent to drive to her father's hotel room to speak with him at such a late hour as odd. |

Judged: 1 1 1 By Elaine Allegrini, Enterprise staff writer HANSON — The 21-year-old college student who disappeared after a minor car crash in New Hampshire last week probably left the area in another vehicle, investigators said Thursday after a search near the crash scene failed to produce evidence she had walked into the woods. ...If she entered a vehicle to get away from the scene, as police believe, they wonder if she knew the driver or if she went with a stranger. http://projectjason.org/forums/index.php... |

Judged: 2 2 2 Wow. Look who's calling the kettle black. At least FrmLE has more class than to threaten to throw egg rolls in people's faces if he happens to see them in a restaurant. |

In defense of the good detective, the chances of him meeting anyone in a restaurant are nonexistent. Egg roll throwing or not. It's like Harry Potter threatening to douse Hermione in hot and sour soup. Fictional characters can't ACTUALLY DO anything off the page. |

Judged: 3 3 3 It must be difficult to feel your have to be on point duty all the time. I know a few retired LE. Most of them are eager and open to discuss a cold case hoping something comes the fore that hadn't been considered in the past. You've got a bee up yer kilt over this one. It might lead some to conclude a similar disappearance happened on your watch? |

Good point about the Hadley accident but I wonder if circumstances didn't give her the opportunity or she was too shook up as it seemed to be a more severe crash. Maybe she felt she could get away with it there because she knew someone. She obviously didn't want LE involved in Swiftwater as she told Mr. Atwood she called AAA and didn't want him to call LE. This tells me she wanted to avoid contact with LE. |

That isn't my quote about the windshield, though early on I was an advocate of her possibly having hit her head, I now have my doubts. |

Judged: 2 There were red stains on the ceiling and on the drivers side door (paraphrasing) as per the accident report. Mr. Renner also noted red stains on the ceiling of the Saturn when he looked in the car in summer, 2011. If the red stains were wine stains and the wine spewed forth from a Coke bottle with a 1 neck, how much staining could there be on the ceiling? Wouldnt wine have landed on the driver? Mightnt MM have wine on her or be toweling off some wine when BA came along? Would BA have been able to see staining on the deployed airbag? Perhaps the wine was spilled when a perp. pulled Maura from the Saturn? That would make the Saturn THE crime scene. Does anyone know why the Saturn is still at Troop F? Is it being held so that DNA might be extracted as forensic techniques are becoming more advanced? Or so that it can be used as an exhibit in a trial down the road? Or is it that FM cant bear to collect it? |

whiston, Please, enlighten my feeble mind. Why would the Toyota have been damaged for a reason? What would have been the point? Im truly curious. Thanks. |

Judged: 1 1 1 The Saturn once it left the scene on the tow truck lost any value ( as far as the chain of custody ) unless it was followed by LE to Lavoies where it was stored. How long was it between the time Lavoie picked up the vehicle and LE saw it again? Was it inside a fence or garage? Did Mike go straight back to the garage or did he stop at McDonalds for coffee? Once the car was left outside for Fred Murray and his family to see then the vehicle lost all importance. The car was even offered back to Fred. That would have been convenient if He took it then Lo and Behold. Then NHSP wants the car taken to NHSP troop F for storage. Certainly some strange goings on with the Saturn. I AM NOT saying Mike Lavoie did anything wrong and I definitely don't think He did, I was just using the trip back to the garage as the first chain of custody (IF there was to be one) mistake. We know Smith remained at the scene for another Hour or more...so He didn't follow it back. John |
Consider the possibility of the Corolla being damaged before/during the party. I agree with Beagle this direction to the hotel would have not been my first choice, but my first choice for a secluded intersection. Police report from Hadley accident accident, depicts the Corolla going nearly head on into guardrail. Whereas actual damage was passenger side. |
