Whatever it was, LE accepted it. Also, assuming he did see the lights at the crash site, he may not have paid much attention -- given the design of the curve at the Weathered Barn, I would guess more than one accident has happened there.

It has been said that the frostheaves on Rte 112 between Bradley Hill Road and the 116 intersection can be quite difficult in the winter and that quite a few people apparently choose the Rte 116-Bradley Hill Rd alternative instead of Rte 112.
