It's just a website hosting service that happens to be called "Torontomail". But somebody deliberately went out of their way to choose it to make anyone think they were in Canada and not in MA or close by. Seems to be happening quite a bit of late.

So the YouTube video shows a cross country pass ("XC ADULT") for a Wednesday (February 11, 2004) unless it's been doctored. Probably just another nutter off his rocker...

The uploader is the only one who could have titled it: "Maura Murray ?" Either it's for real, it's doctored, or some crazy found it while they were cleaning out their cupboard and decided to have a little "fun" with us on the 8th anniversary.

I was wondering the same thing about how quickly Renner found it but then again people are corresponding constantly with him and may have alerted him to it or possibly the 112dirtbag emailed Renner with the link. Who has stubbs that are 8 years old to a ski package? That is very odd to say the least.

Looks like it was never used, preserved in plastic. Outline visible. Those tickets are hard to pull apart without ripping to get off your ski coat.

And, yes. ONLY the original poster can add a title to the video. You have to have a valid email to upload content to YouTube, and other users cannot edit your titles, captions, etc. They can leave comments, though, if they are logged in.

Occam's Razor says it's someone screwing with James Renner. Or, alternatively, that Renner posted it himself. But I don't think he did. I'd be more likely to believe someone amused by all of us salivating over this case is taking (cruel) advantage of the anniversary. Lots of people went skiing that weekend, some people probably still have stubs. Anyone could have made that video.

Edit: And what I mean is, keeping stubs from fun events isn't uncommon. I have stubs to concerts and plane rides from high school in my scrapbook. Not so very unusual.

I believe Renner was emailed this "tip".

The ticket time stamp is 4:39:02 and there is NO dollar amt. on the ticket. It is also a lodging pkg.

The oddest part is the time stamp because BW closes the Mtn at 4 pm.

Anyway....someones idea of a sick joke.

Don't forget it was a Wednesday in a winter where there wasn't very much snow. Creepy that some sad excuse for a human being took the time to do this. Definitely making a statement with his (or hers) account name.
