I tend to agree. It is a form of extortion. A type of yellow journalism. The type that the rags use. His attitude is, "if you don't talk to him that gives him Carte blanche to portray the family any way he wishes." The lowest form of douche baggery.

I wouldn't talk to him either. I believe his book will be crap. Sensationalized with very little content of any use to the investigation and nothing that wasn't already known. Maybe not the public (though so far, there has been nothing new), but certainly known by the police.

I am not very familiar with the Patric McCarthy case.

Maybe Beagle, if it's him, really does believe there is a connection here somewhere. If this is his way of trying to draw attention to get authorities etc to take his theories seriously, he is going about it in a bad way IMHO.

Not to be rude, but does Beagle have a documented history of mental illness? I suspect this will not end well for him. I hope he has some friends here who can check up on him and advise that these postings may cause him more harm than good.
