They MAY have found evidence somewhere, leading them to believe she WAS somewhere and then was "moved" after the incident. When I hear them say "the last place she was," I take 'was' to mean 'alive,' since they think a crime took place. so then they would have spent quite a bit of time investigating at the place she WAS...Did they spend significant time anywhere?Or it was the rug&knife which they most likely would stay quiet about so as not to alert the POI. that they have damning evidence.

Hmm..The unused XC ski pass is evidence she didnt ski after checking in to bretton woods,so that room would be her last place.Or the carpet with Menstrual blood, can they get DNA from a menstrual blood sample. How do they know she didnt just stop by the last place&leave on her own? There must be tangible evidence.

IMHO the rug & knife prollay are not even important.. If they are, well, this has been all over the internet & tv for years.. So, if they were important, I suspect the person that lived at the house would have found out about it eventually.. I dont think anyone would release that evidence if it was important in catching a criminal.. lets just say this.. Jason from Friday the 13'th movies carries a Machete.. If the knife was that important, they would have maybe said to the person, "your brother gave us your gun & we found your machete in the woods at so & so" just to see his/her response.. You read peoples reactions, their eyes, movements, tells, etc; LE plays mind games just as well to catch the "bad person".. All depends on how smart the bad person & LE are... Like they say "If Whitey would have never trusted anyone, he'd still be free"...

So much we just don't know is right but it sounds like there is a person of interest. They can't prove she was murdered yetbut based on what they know it seems to lean that way based on comments made.

If it was the rug and knife the POI is long since deceased. He was already when the knife was given to FM by his brother.

There is absolutely NOTHING that is known that ties that XC pass to Maura.

Emmett Dove wrote: <quoted text> So, this Monteau Ski Place, has it been brought up before?? She had been going up there hiking her whole life, this place is around 112 (as shown on the map), Anyone think this place is significant? The Lodge served as a base Camp for the October 2006 by the searchers with Ct. SSR who volunteered their services...within a mile from A frame. From memory Haverhill PD didn't attend...(maybe I just didn't see them/him..maybe not in uniform...?) Besides the then Chief there were only 3 other LEO's for the pop. 5K..anyway.

Interesting they at least admit they have determined a last place she was, which they donīt want to disclose and which apparently was not at the accident scene, since that place is already known to the public as the last place she was seen. I believe reading between the lines tells us she somehow made it from the accident scene to some other place under NH jurisdiction, though possibly out of Grafton county.

So, Shack - what was your role regarding the carpet in the A-frame?

After all she was a former NCAA Track Athlete, Cross Country record holder.. Idc if it was division 111, still hard to achieve! Or she got a ride.. I think she ran to avoid a ticket, but I really could lean either way..

Brilliant Brian wrote: <quoted text> The dying brother handed over the knife, I do not believe the brother he accused has passed. No sorry, you got it all wrong. CM who passed away due to cancer, handed it over to his brother, who is still alive today. This brother then gave it to Fred Murray.

Snowy got a couple unlit bulbs and spams for this one, but she really does have a point. Yes, the past is in the past. Day to day, that much is true. That whole area got painted with a real broad bad-guy brush over this, and it isn't fair, however. One unnamed person's alleged actions (IF it even was someone local; IF anything sinister happened at all) doesn't account for the whole town. Fell on my already broken tailbone again the other day. UNHAPPY. But I wanted to put out there that I will be requesting documents from Amherst PD regarding the 1st crash & subsequent mysteries. If they decide to release them to me, I'll find a way to share them here so all can see.
