The movie "Harry and the Hendersons" was a childhood favorite, and I've heard rumor that he has relatives in the area. :-) (Disclaimer: Bad joke. Long day. Not even 5pm yet. Please send snacks.)

What a great movie with John Lithgow who was born in Ro-cha-cha, speaking of which where's "Aftermath"?

Topix needs to get better snacks.:-) I don't think I've seen any posts by Aftermath yet. I've read through a lot of the old posts, but I sorta just scroll past the names unless something specific grabs my attention.

Somewhat interesting if you type into google "Maura Murray prime suspect" it's one of Beagle's threads, pretty interesting one at that. He wanted attention, he certainly got it.

RE: Lysol in the area. I was talking about Lyme Kiln where Chris G. was murdered 2008... a few miles from Lily Pond where Tom C. was murdered 2005.......a few mores miles to Indel.....who murdered Powell 2009. Having had over 70 years of life and ties to the area..I am expressing my views and opinions. My very first feeling when I was told by a Local "there's a man going around town being a pain in the....looking for his daughter" was shame and embarrasment. I found the Maura Murray Missing forum and contacted family. One Poster wrote "what was she doing up here anyway"....that seemed to set the theme of "blaming the victim". So mixed emotions..shame...sorrow....an ger..disgust....emotions I have and own..I'm not sorry for any of them.

Snowy wrote: <quoted text> and the camera should be pointed both ways to keep everyone honest and accountable. too many out there are taser-happy and trigger-happy. Agree. Perhaps if the Vermont State Trooper who came across Brianna Maitland's abandoned car on March 20, 2004 had been able to capture the obvious crime scene on self-mounted video camera there might have been a different outcome. And video would have helped with the crash site and aftermath at Weathered Barn. Absolutely. Where are Aftermath and Beagle when we so need them to wander into the fray?

What was she doing up here in Feb. alone and in an unreliable car after lying to people about a death in family??? That's the big question and maybe if the answer was known to LE instead of "it doesn't matter" response they got more might have been known much sooner. Everyone has emotions shack but not all spew such hatred and despicable name calling as you did for years. The things you said about the people that lived near where mauras car went off the road is beyond comprehending. I'm not surprised that you aren't sorry for anything you said. It's even kind of sad that you are so cold hearted and live in such hatred. It must be very hard to be you. Sleep well tonight shack. I know you will as it's evident you are unable to feel remorse or shame.

I think, given the added publicity to Mr112Dirtbag's YouTube, we can expect that the account owner will be spoken to be LE (if it hasn't already occurred).

Whether or not it contributed to the man's death, I feel bad for the guy. :-) I agree with your post, wholeheartedly. I know some here dislike Websleuths, but I do find it a good source of information. You should check it out, Amy. Oh and Bill, this is OT, but I saw your posts in the Patric McCarthy forum, just read it for the first time this weekend - I appreciate your input there. It made for an educational read, and I knew nothing of the case prior to checking out the Topix thread/family website.

Emmett Dove wrote: I kinda hate to ask, but are anyone here close to my age?... maybe thats why I dont understand alot about what is said :( I take it that no-one will answer me cus its off topic & all... Well, I get along better with older people as I was raised with "old world traditions".. I can tell by the way many of you talk that your old enough to be my parents, some even grandparents.. 8 years youve been looking/helping/fighting ... A lot is said about my generation not being good people.. I agree.. But there are some of us that can hold a great conversation & have ethics, morales, & great family values! I am just a tad older than Maura would be, as im 33.. But I do try to respect my elders & women the way I was raised, & you never see me curse on the forums out of respect... I am starting to understand alot about all of the anamosity that happens on occasion here... There is nothing I can do about it & its none of my business, thats why I dont waste yalls time commenting on it.. I do appreciate yall letting me talk in your forum, even though its public, its mostly the same people & it would be easy to he rude to me & run me off, but you dont.. So im like family??:)
