Who cares about her West Point connection, I couldn't care less. I think you're way off track Whitenoise, way off track. Go find the forums for the other missing persons you mentioned. Maybe you'll be wanted there. No clue why you're here. For your own amusement? That about sums up what type of person you are. No need to say any more about that. Your post speaks for itself.

There is an epidemic of missing people in this country. There are so many missing persons cases that warrant my interest and concern. These people are decent people minding their own business and abducted, never to be seen again: Holly Bobo, Tara Grinstead, Jennifer Kesse. Holly Bobo was dragged out of her own house, her brother looked out a second floor window and witnessed this. Tara and Jennifer were also both taken from their own homes. My heart bleeds for these people and their suffering families. I have compassion burnout and I drop into this forum only occasionally for my own amusement. The only reason so many got hooked on this case is because of Maura's West Point connection. A certain amount of glamour attaches itself to the words West Point. They forget she was there only 3 months and then got kicked out for stealing. Your trying to be too PC and sugar coat this. How do you really feel?

Hello everyone I not posted for a long long time I have posted before (under the same username) but mostly just read things now. Have any of you read about Billy Rausch's sister who committed suicide in April 2007? Was wondering what you think about this? I read it on renners blog and he says the case is still open which is weird if was in fact a suicide. From Renners blog: "During a visit to the Morrow County Sheriff's office last week, I was given a report by police in which the scene was described. In the report, the officer mentions that a note had been tucked into her waistband. When I requested further information, including statements and details about the note's contents, I was told the case was still open and the office could not release any information because detectives were still investigating it for possible criminal charges."

Yes I read it and my thoughts go out to the family, once again. They sure didn't bring it up. Neighbors say it happened in April, 2007.....how tragic it is, when people see no other way out.

If you go to mmblogspot, Renner's site for MM, you'll read there's more to this statement than was quoted.

Just tryin' to help geeze louize. They went on to say that it's an open case, and that might be all they meant, that is an open investigation still, not necessarily criminal by ANY means. I think it's helpful to read the rest, no more lemons please.

Cruelly invasive of Renner. He knows this tragedy has nothing to do with his MM book. I have always liked and respected Sharon and Billy, the only two decent people in this long, dreary, dismal saga of booze, drunk driving, wives getting pregnant by men who are not their husbands, stealing from your own classmates and friends, lying, drugs etc. Billy has had a close escape, I hope that by now he has found a life companion worthy of him.

Minimize Harm Ethical journalists treat sources, subjects and colleagues as human beings deserving of respect. Journalists should: — Show compassion for those who may be affected adversely by news coverage. Use special sensitivity when dealing with children and inexperienced sources or subjects. — Be sensitive when seeking or using interviews or photographs of those affected by tragedy or grief. — Recognize that gathering and reporting information may cause harm or discomfort. Pursuit of the news is not a license for arrogance. — Recognize that private people have a greater right to control information about themselves than do public officials and others who seek power, influence or attention. Only an overriding public need can justify intrusion into anyone’s privacy. — Show good taste. Avoid pandering to lurid curiosity.

And then a third version from 11/2004 that someone emailed me. I haven't studied the differences in much detail, but I'm happy to forward it to you if you want it. Just PM me an address. Are there more than three versions available to the public? Anyone know? Thank you for the response. I do have those already, I just thought maybe a different version from later than printed in 2004 had been put out there that I hadn't seen yet.
