Has anyone looked further into the rag in the saturn's tailpipe? Apparently the rag was stuffed far into it so the question I have is would the car even run that way? Has the car been checked if it had an exhaust leak? If the car would not run like that then it was done at the accident scene. This may be a small but important piece to solving the riddle.

Truce. Peace. And blessings and prayers to anyone who has endured unimaginable pain with a debilitating disease or lost anyone to a long-suffering illness. Does anyone know why it would take so long to identify the DNA from human skeletal remains, i.e. the skull in Danby? If the family of missing persons in the last, say 30 years had contributed DNA with the hope that it could be eventually matched to a missing relative, wouldn't it be a matter of days or weeks to obtain the identity of those remains?

I'm still reading these replies but have no hope of ever reading everything so forgive me if I ask questions already answered. mallcop are you and jwb one in the same and if yes why do you use different names. It's confusing to new people. And if you are jwb are you the one I heard about that was trying to find out where people replying here lived? I will say just from reading your post above and other posts by you (if you are jwb)that I already know I don't like you. Your remark above is disgusting and uncalled for and I wonder what it has to do with Maura Murry. Back to reading but what I'm learning I doubt I'll be around very long. I've heard outside of Topix thai this was a hate mongering site and I had to come see for myself. Well I guess what I heard was right.

I know that DNA can be extracted from the pulp of teeth, after many, many decades if not centuries (under certain conditions) from what I understand. And the inside of the long bones also hold a wealth of DNA under most condition also. So if they have a mom and dad that they think this person is related to I don't know what is taking so long. Clearly there is something they either don't know, or haven't figured out yet. I thought that this would be figured out quicker. Maybe it has been but for whatever reason they are not releasing the information. Bill

JWB - tell me why you need to know who Wowzer is? What will you do with that information? Do you plan to interrogate her? Punish her for her opinions or kind sharing of information? Blame her? Gossip about her?

I've heard outside of Topix thai this was a hate mongering site and I had to come see for myself. Well I guess what I heard was right. So much for warm and fuzzy. If you get off your keister and do your research you'll find out that a certain poster claimed to have seen the accident site the day after and asserted he/she had knowledge about the forensic results of the duct tape/cloths (Matthew) and other details concerning this disappearance. That poster offered to meet with a couple of other contributors here but then retracted that offer after a heated discussion about egg-rolls. JWB's question was clearly NOT a clandestine attempt to find out where someone resided. By all means go back to reading, it's probably more productive than you staying here and behaving like an ignorant lul.

This place would make a good case study in crazy, but isn't useful for much else most of the time. There are moments of civility and useful discussion... then the tide changes. The only advantage I've found of this forum over others, is that there are a few NH locals and family members/people close to the case who occasionally wade through to share useful information. Otherwise, it's just a big soap opera. JMO.

You took a snide and uncalled for swipe at another poster (without knowing the history, I can only surmise) so I provided the background of where that discussion (concerning viewing the accident scene) had arisen. If you truly want to help, perhaps you can set up a FAQ sheet somewhere as was suggested by Bill. There are many contributors here who have information from newsprint media and old forums etc. that would benefit old and new posters alike.

Do you have any idea how many locals may have seen the accident scene the next day? We go to work, school, store, appts etc. It's no big secret or conspiracy. I notice many times in the winter tire tracks going off the road and my take on it is "whoops". Another one going to fast. And I think the poster who I supposedly took a "swipe" at deserved it and I find it comical that you feel the need to defend someone who has no trouble "speaking up". Funny how several speak for one another. Very noticable to newer people.
