Jenkins wrote: I can't believe you can actually see the back of a red pickup truck in a pic on their website. Is it the red truck, idk, but that is pretty coincidental if you ask me. I looked at the photos on their website, but that is not the website I am referring to where I found photos of a red "stake-bed," single cab truck. I cannot post it here for privacy reasons, PM me if you would like the link. I'm just curious - for some reason, Topix does not show most posts as being the "latest" post even after a couple of hours, it shows the person's post prior to mine. Can you all see my post #19656 above? This the second time this has happened and I'm not sure if my posts are viewable to others. Thanks.

James White, head of the New Hampshire State Police Major Crime Unit. Tuesday will mark the sixth anniversary of the day Murray vanished in the North Country after crashing her car on remote and winding Route 112 during a snowstorm shortly before 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 9, 2004.
Some time in the last two weeks, police received new information in the case, White said, though he declined to say exactly what it is. This case is very much active." he said. As a result of the new leads, White said, police collected items that are now in the process of being tested. Union Leader...Nancy West 2/7/10
"Matthew - Lincoln, NH - Feb 9, 2010 (Posted on Amherst, MA Topix) I was hunting 7.8 miles from the site of the car crash of Maura and found cloths with duct tape with hair in the tape. I called the state police they said they would call me back. Then 4 days they called me and wanted me to show them where the cloths were since the first call to the police it snowed but we found them and never heard nothing else." Clearly Matthew had Maura's disappearance in mind when he posted this information precisely 6 years to the day after she vanished. He also went to the trouble to exactly map out the spot and the exact distance from Weathered Barn Corner to the gravel parking area and dirt road where he found the duct tape/cloth/hair. That area is part of the White Mountain National Forest and there is a large meadow and gravel pit adjacent to the parking lay-by. There were two posters on this forum who claimed to have information on the test results from Matthew's find, but I don't believe a definitive answer was ever provided. Possibly the "new information" that Lt. James White referred to above is the duct tape/cloth/hair or perhaps it could have been something else all together? Matthew would have been hunting in (presumably) November, 2009 and the above information seems to have been discovered in January, 2010.

Topix will sometimes delete a post if it contains a link to another forum or certain other sites. I'm not sure how they decide what to delete. That drove me nuts when I was new here. I would be interested to see the truck you're talking about also, if you are talking about a truck like RO saw. I've seen the construction page also but am not sure if that business uses the same type of red truck. I'm curious about something re: the truck RO saw, if you are comfortable sharing by PM.

ROs description that I recall was a red F250 pick up with wooden slats and Ma plates. She even posted a website with a photo of a truck that looked similar to the one she was describing on the mm site many years back. It is unknown if this vehicle had any thing to do with Mauras disappearance. I dont ever remember her saying a specific red color only that the truck was red. Red was a very popular color the year Maura disappeared. There are other buisnesses that own red trucks but it does not mean any of them are involved in Mauras disappearance. I want Maura found. But I dont think it would be right to go digging up ones property with out evidence just because they own a red truck. There is absolutly no proof to my knowledge that a red truck was involved in her disappearance.

Wow WTH, your really grasping at straws here. Pink ones? purple ones? Which ever color we like? Where are you getting this crap from? We aren't just picking colors that we like, that couldnt be further from the truth. We will never look at pink or purple or any other trucks. Wanna know why? Because we are listening to a reliable witnesses account to direct what we are looking at. RO reported seeing a red truck so we are looking at red trucks. You have to be completely bullshitting when you make a post like you just did. To say we are just picking this color because we like it or something is to completely outright lie. So what else are you lying about? Is this kinda like last week when you forgot how many houses you own?

Your totally right citi, there is no direct proof the red truck was involved. At the very least the red truck is a person of interest, as not as a suspect at least as a material witness. The driver of the truck was in the area at the exact same time Maura was there and before the cops drove by. The driver could be a very important witness. I've never heard anyone suggest people should go digging up people's property just because they own a red truck.

Agree that people still care- Imagine if it were your daughter- Nice to see that some people are here for the right reasons because they care. The disturbing thing is some people that have been here from the start that just try and roadblock the conversation away from LE and Locals. Makes you wonder doesn't it. Certain posters lay dormant until those conversations arise-?

not only Billwood but S Champy also talks about the same individuals in the Saco mag. You can't tell the diff at night from a temp Plate and an mass plate. look at it some time - I have and yes up close of course you know- but as a car or truck is driving away then you can't tell the diff.

I live in a small town (woodstock) and I am not originally from this town- But I have learned quickly that most people are related in some form or another and will protect all locals till the end-- those that move in town from elsewhere are called flat landers and don't fit the mold. don't get me wrong, I love the small town community because they will help you no matter what, but the local bond is tops and I have seen it thrown in my face!!

Sorry folks But my MO is to do the right thing period- I can live with myself this way- I may upset some locals but to bad- I have not name dropped but continue to look for the truth no matter what. I have a local Job that entails public representation and have come across the same local road block (red tape) yet I fight through it for the better of everyone. Be honest and forthright. Wowzer you are from RI and you are not a Local and neither is Snowy- WTH ? Not sure about you dude.

You might not want to admit it but I am in the center of small town politics and i know first hand how it goes- show your ignorance with your peanuts but it only bolsters what i am saying.

It is very obvious that a local individual is being protected !!! Just look at previous postings and the judging of my post- We all know that a local person is being investigated and we know who they are- Lets just cut to the chase shall we?
