Great post mcs I think there's some people that post here that seem to forget we r talking about a missing person who most likely is dead. I for one pray to god that she's still out there, living her life under a new name. That would be so f'n cool if she actually did it...sounds like she wanted to at least

I really hope the ccu can solve this, I for one will be very impressed if they do. Sad thing about it though is just the fact that she is on the ccu list means that they believe she was murdered. There's very specific criteria to be included in that list, and just being missing does not fit the criteria. There has to be a murder suspected, suspected being the key word here. Meaning that if they thought she was in the woods, she would not be on the list. They need to think that she was murdered. The nhsp clearly suspect that she was murdered, this much we know. I find it very interesting that there's some posters that think they are so much smarter, such better investigators than the LE who are tasked with investigating this case. It's funny that these anonymous Internet posters think they Know so much more than LE does. I just wonder why these guys care so much about people discussing the case. Why does it seem that they don't give 2 shits about Maura, yet they really really care about people posting on a message board? How can these guys consider this "entertainment"??... really?? Discussing a missing girl who in all likelihood is dead is what they consider entertainment?! Wow, just think how fucked up that statement really is.

I look forward to new information. I believe everyone is here for Maura but many topics have been exhausted on this forum. I hope MR Renner can sell some books to springboard his search for facts.

I wonder how far up the totum pole the maura case is based on the NHCCU guidelines of priority.

we all know who said they were here for the entertainment and I agree Jenkins that it is sickening. I can only hope that they were bored yet really did care at some point in time.

Everything points to Maura going up the street a bit& most likely getting into a vehicle...Everyone has heard about a red truck searching for someone at around the same time that night...I believe Maura knew this person&got into that truck...Theres less evidence of her being in the woods.

Good question jwb, I wonder that as well. How much of a priority is maura's case in relation to the other cases? I also wonder how they work these cases. Does the ccu go back to the start and completely investigate the case again, or do they just take over the case file and wait for new tips/leads? I really hope they go back and completely start from scratch again, fresh eyes on the case. Aside from a new witness or new evidence being found I think they need to go back to square one. There very well could be, and in all likelihood, there's something that was missed originally that could be the key to solving this case.

If she knew who picked her up....why didn't she take some of personal belongings...clothes...jewelry ..with her...

Jenkins, there is something on that and it relates to how strong they feel that a murder was committed and how strong of a case they may have to move forward, I have looked into it and the info is there but i just can't tell you right now where I got it. I obviously can't say for sure here but I don't think they ever did. If you go back and read old posts it seems like these guys are way more concerned about the sbd than Maura. There's been many times where theyve emphatically stated that they don't care and are here strictly for "entertainment purposes", their words not mine. I see way more care for the stupid sbd than Maura. I've seen much care sent out by these guys to the sbd, so much that bill used to end his posts by saying "in memory of sbd"...yet I've never seen the slightest bit of care for Maura. They also make it out like people just randomly chose the sbd to pick on. Like he was just an innocent bystander and everyone just chose to pick on him, which couldn't be further from the truth. Has anyone ever said anything bad about the westmans? Not at all, wanna know why? Because their story never changed, they obviously didnt do anything wrong. Completely different for the sbd... We have multiple stories told by by him in which he changes major details. We have confirmed lies that he said. We also have some very strange actions by him..like how he chose To park his bus that night. Why did he park his bus different that night than he ever had before or after the crash? What was different that night that made him choose to do that? We know for a fact that it wasn't out of concern for Maura or that he needed to do it quickly because the way he parked was much more difficult than he did regularly. He also parked in such a manner that he couldn't see the scene. Just strange behavior & she is missing. So no, nobody just randomly chose anyone to pick on. Everything that was ever said about the sbd was clearly brought on by his own actions and statements Nobody ever just wanted to pick on the sbd, I'd bet he was a good guy; it's just that we are talking about a missing person. I'm sorry but if your one of the last people to see this girl alive, and your telling multiple different stories and just outright lying, people are gonna question you and they're totally right for doing so. I just wish that these guys would put one percent of the care they put forth for the sbd and other locals towards Maura, maybe we could actually get somewhere

They pull the same crap on other topix forums. I think they are the former LE that have been caught with their pants pulled down because they have flipped flopped on their news paper interviews back and forth. we have CS who lasted a year as the new Chief? Really? local guy ! previous Chief DWI? Ok great staff someone I want to protect my community and depend on.

She was seen at the car 1-2 minutes before police got there, so she likely had to high tail it.
